Remote support system and methods for firearm and asset monitoring including coalescing cones of fire

A firearm monitoring and remote support system monitors firearms and other assets within a deployment location to detect threats to users of the firearms and to perform actions in response to the threats. Measurements recorded using sensors of the firearms and/or of the other assets are used to determine changes in motion, position, orientation, and/or operation of the firearms and/or of the other assets. The measurements are processed to determine the nature of a threat and the particular actions to perform in response thereto. Graphical user interfaces visualizing the users within the deployment location are updated using the measurements to show, in real-time, positions and orientations of cones of fire for the users within the deployment location. In some cases, the cones of fire may be used to detect threats within the deployment location. In some cases, the actions to perform in response to a detected threat may be automated.

SHOOTING RANGE ESTIMATION METHOD BASED ON MISS DISTANCE AND WEAPON CALIBER PREDICTION FOR FIREARMS

A method providing an estimation of a shooting range with high accuracy by a miss distance estimation and a weapon caliber classification following detection of shooting of firearms with supersonic bullets, and by using novel equations constructed from field shooting data for each caliber in order to ensure a security of a patrol station, a border, troops, a society, a vehicle and a convoy is provided.

Bullet detection system

A portable Doppler microwave radar defense system that saves lives in dangerous situations, and alerts a person from surrounded threats, exposes enemy location, and shows the health data and injured person's location to remote server at a base. The system lets the person know about the surrounded threats before it happens, as it will detect any bullets in the detection zone and alert the person immediately from the incoming bullet within a long range which will let the person have seconds to avoid the bullet and save his life and the location of the shooter will be exposed to the person. The detection system can also be deployed over an object such as a car, truck, battle tank, aircraft, jet, helicopter, spaceship, or a satellite.

Unauthorized electro-optics (EO) device detection and response system

A system is disclosed to identify authorized EO devices and unauthorized EO devices within a scene. The system responds with a variety of response actions including sending warning messages of the unauthorized EO devices, recording images and position of the unauthorized EO device. The system can further be configured to hamper the operation of the unauthorized EO devices detected within the scene.

Trajectory estimate for a sub-sonic projectile can be derived from sampling a wake contribution of an acoustic signal detected at a multi-detector array. The wake contribution is sampled, in time, and the samples are processed to determine a bearing estimate for the projectile from which the acoustic wake derives.

System and method for jamming a target acquisition

A system for jamming a target acquisition, which starts at a position and may be detected by a detector that provides a detection signal in response to the target acquisition includes a warning device for outputting a warning, in case the detector outputs a detection signal. The system also includes an optical jammer configured to provide at least one jamming signal, and a directing device configured to direct the jamming signal towards the position in response to the output warning in order to prevent target acquisition or at least to make target acquisition more difficult.

Airborne equipment for detecting shootings and assisting piloting

An airborne shootings detection and piloting aid equipment is disclosed for an aircraft including a multi-sensor system supplying signals representing an environment of the aircraft including at least one system supplying a signal, referred to as an LWIR/MWIR signal, representing infrared radiation lying the far infrared or mid-infrared range; piloting aid means for obtaining first piloting information including information representing obstacles present in the environment of the aircraft; and shootings detection means for obtaining second piloting information including information representing shootings in the vicinity of the aircraft, the piloting aid means and the shootings detection means using signals representing an environment of the aircraft including at least the LWIR/MWIR signal; and obtaining means for obtaining piloting aid parameters from first and second piloting information.
