Quick-Change System for a Sweep
20180368305 · 2018-12-27 ·

A quick-change system for a sweep including a sweep with a neck and a removable wedge. The neck serves to couple the sweep to a cultivator shank and comprises an inner surface with at least one lug that fits in at least one hole of the cultivator shank, and side flaps configured to clasp said cultivator shank. The removable wedge is inserted between the side flaps and the cultivator shank and holds the cultivator shank against the inner surface of the neck. The combination of the lug fitted in the hole of the cultivator shank and the removable wedge inserted in the neck makes it possible to retain and fasten the sweep to the cultivator shank. A tool disassembles the sweep of the cultivator shank.

Locking device for a wear part of a soil-working implement

A locking device (3) for a wearing part (2) detachably attached to a soil-working working element (1) by means of quick-coupling elements (11, 21), wherein a locking element (31) attached to the working element (1) includes an end portion (312) projecting from the working element (1) and being provided with an engagement section (313) arranged to engage with a lock-receiving element (22) arranged on a lee-side face (2a) of the wearing part (2).

SHANK ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WITH IMPROVED TILLAGE POINT RETENTION AND RELATED METHODS
20180288929 · 2018-10-11 · ·

In one aspect, a shank assembly for an agricultural implement may include a shank and a tillage point coupled to a distal end of the shank. The tillage point may include a body having first and second retention walls, with the retention walls being spaced apart such that a retention slot is defined directly between the retention walls. In addition, the first retention wall may define an inner cavity that extends from an inner surface of the first retention wall towards an opposed outer surface of the first retention wall. Moreover, the shank assembly may include a retention collar received within the inner cavity and a retention pin configured to be inserted through aligned openings of the tillage point and the shank, as well as though the retention collar, when the distal end of the shank is received within the retention slot.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING SHANK ATTACHMENT MEMBER LOSS OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
20240298560 · 2024-09-12 ·

Agricultural implements typically include ground-engaging tools, such as replaceable shanks and shank attachment members (e.g., tillage points), to condition the soil of a field. Unfortunately, when a shank attachment member falls off or otherwise decouples from its respective shank during operation, the shank attachment member is typically difficult to find and expensive to replace. The shank may also need to be replaced if the implement is operated for an extended period without a shank attachment member. As such, an agricultural implement includes radar sensors configured to emit output signals directed at a portion of a field positioned aft of the shanks and to receive reflections of the output signals as echo signals, and a computing system configured to determine when the shank attachment member has detached from the shank based on the echo signals.

CULTIVATOR WHICH IS SCREWED ON THE REAR FACE

The invention relates to a cultivator for an agricultural soil processing machine, which includes a base part which has a cutting element on a cutter support. The base part has at least one screw receiving area for securing to a support, in particular a tine of the agricultural soil processing machine. The screw receiving area is designed as a blind hole with an inner thread and is recessed into a cultivator support surface aligned opposite the tool advancing direction of the cultivator, or the screw receiving area is designed as a through-bore with an inner thread and is covered by at least one wear protection element in the tool advancing direction. The cultivator is characterized by reduced wear.

SHANK ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT

A shank assembly for an agricultural implement includes a ground-engaging shank having a shank body. Furthermore, the shank assembly includes a sleeve having a forward wall, an intermediate wall positioned aft of and spaced apart from the forward wall, and an aft wall positioned aft of and spaced apart from the intermediate wall. Additionally, the sleeve includes a first side wall coupled to the forward, intermediate, and aft walls on a first side of the sleeve and a second side wall coupled to the forward, intermediate, and aft walls on a second side of the sleeve. Moreover, the forward wall, the intermediate wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall collectively define a forward passage through which the shank body extends. In addition, the intermediate wall, the aft wall, the first side wall, and the second side wall collectively define an aft passage.
