Quick-Detachable Multi-Purpose Accessory Mounting Platform
Accessories may be mounted using a quick-detachable multi-purpose accessory mounting platform. The platform may include one or more clamps to receive an object, such as a firearm. The platform also may include at least one recessed mounting pad, at least one rear shelf, and other surfaces to provide different mounting points for accessories.
Modular light mountable on a handgun
A light mountable on a handgun may comprise: a light module including one or more light sources, a cavity for a source of electrical power, a switch, a circuit for energizing the light sources; and an outer housing having complementary parts configured to enclose the light module and a part of the handgun. The outer light housing may include an access cover that is openable when the light is mounted on a handgun, for placing and removing the source of electrical power. Light sources may include an illumination source and an aiming source. A lighting circuit includes a controllable electronic device in series with a power terminal of a controller, wherein operation of the switch causes the controller to maintain the electronic device conductive, whereby the controller then remains powered; and wherein the controller responds to a subsequent operation of the switch to render the electronic device nonconductive, whereby the controller is then unpowered even when electrical power is received.
KeyMod handguard quick release structure
A KeyMod handguard quick release structure is mainly used in rifle gun, including a base body for mounting gun accessories, operation elements, first spring element fixed to each operation element, a positioning element and a second spring element installed between the positioning element and base body, where the seat body has an accommodation space and through hole, the operation elements respectively have a guide portion, and the positioning element is passed through the through-hole. When the base body is to be installed on the KeyMod handguard, an engagement member is placed in a large engagement hole, and the base body is then pressed down, the positioning element being moved upward immediately.
Hand guard for firearm
A hand guard-to-barrel clamping system having provisions for internal clamping fasteners is disclosed. A hand guard assembly includes upper and lower members each having bores tangential to a longitudinal axis of the assembly. The bores are arranged such that fasteners can be inserted through the bores for securing the upper and lower members together, thereby clamping the hand guard assembly to the firearm. Such fasteners are internal to the hand guard assembly, which provides a slim design that is easier to hold.
Firearm Sight WIth Modular Interchangeable Hoods
A sighting device is configured to be mounted on a firearm and comprises a core unit that includes a source of electrical power; a hood removably secured to the core unit and enclosing a portion of the core unit and at least partially defining a sight window through the hood; and an electrical connection between the core unit and the hood, wherein electrical power is transmitted between the core unit and the hood. The electrical accessory may be one of a solar charging cell; a laser pointer sighting device powered by the core unit; or a laser range-finding device powered by the core unit.
WEAPON MOUNTABLE ILLUMINATION DEVICE
A weapon mountable illumination device configured to mount to existing firearm mounting rails to provide illumination of potential targets while mitigating problems associated with snagging, and shadow casting. It is an aspect of the present invention to provide a rapidly mountable device to provide increased lighting capability while obviating the need to remove back up iron sights.
FIREARM RAIL MOUNT
A firearm rail mount has an elongated rail body having an upper surface defining a horizontal plane, the elongated rail body having lateral rail edges configured to be engaged by a scope ring base, the elongated rail body defining a channel transverse to the elongated rail body and open in an upward direction, the channel having a floor defining a floor plane, and the floor plane being angularly offset from the horizontal plane. The floor plane may be offset from the horizontal plane by 10-20 degrees. The floor plane may be offset from the horizontal plane by 1-44 degrees. The floor plane may be offset from the horizontal plane by 10-20 degrees. The elongated rail body may define a pattern of alternating blocks and gaps, and the channel is registered with one of the gaps. Each gap may include a bottom surface parallel to the horizontal plane.
Universal tactical light fixing mechanism
This invention provides a universal tactical light fixing mechanism which includes a base, a pull rod and a lock block; the pull rod passes through the base and one end thereof is disposed inside the base; the base is provided with a mounting slot for mounting a tactical light; the pull rod is provided with a handle at one end thereof which is distant from the base for controlling the pull rod to move up and down; the handle is rotatably connected with the pull rod; the base is connected with a first screw; the lock block cooperates with the first screw to provide clamping force; the lock block is provided with a gear; the pull rod has a side surface which is provided with slots that match protruding teeth on the gear; the gear is disposed inside the base and engaged with the side surface of the pull rod.
Multidirectional firearm light
An illumination device for a firearm may include a housing supporting multiple lamps. A switch actuator of the device is rotationally coupled to a rear end of the housing. A cam is coupled to the switch actuator, such that the cam rotates with the actuator, the cam having a first end including a magnet and a second end having a shaped cam surface configured to interface with a cam follower. The actuator and the cam are biased toward a neutral position. Selective rotation of the cam causes a magnet of the cam to operate one or more magnetic switches. The cam is transitionable between a plurality of discrete positions, e.g., including a pair of toggle positions in the first rotational direction from the neutral position, and a pair of momentary positions disposed on the cam in the second rotational direction from the neutral position.
Weapon mounted light and operation thereof
A flashlight assembly includes a body having a head portion at one end and an opposing tapered tail portion and a clamping assembly on a bottom side of the body. The tail portion of the body tapers rearwardly towards a tail end thereof and downwardly from an upper side towards the bottom side, such that the tail end of the tail portion merges with the bottom side of the body and forms an inclined contoured surface extending from the bottom side to the top side. A contoured switch is mounted within the inclined angled surface of the tapered tail portion, and includes a safety bail pivotably movable to selectively mechanically impede operation of the switch.
