Devices, apparatus, systems and methods for providing accurate linear and angular positioning with a payload mounted to a beam having freely moveable ends. The payload can be a laser pointer mounted on a firearm, which maintains the initial precise pointing during and after exposure in high G shock and vibration environments. Vertical and lateral adjustment controls can adjust minute changes in beam orientation. Precision adjustments can be performed in a zero G, one G, or high G environment and maintains the adjustment during and after being exposed to a high G shock or vibration environment.

A system and method for a weapon accessory mount is disclosed. The weapon accessory mount is configured to attach a weapon accessory to a rail of a weapon configured to fire a projectile in a projectile path. A flexure is configured to receive the weapon accessory. The flexure includes a first end attached to the rail at a first pivot portion, and a second end opposite the first end attached to the rail at a second portion. The first pivot portion is configured to convert at least a portion of energy of a shock recoil from the weapon from translational energy to rotational energy, the second pivot portion has a similar functionality to the first pivot portion.

The laser sighting device provides a first operation member and a second operation member to achieve vertical and lateral adjustment of the sighting device's laser beam without a tool. Spiral flanges within the first and second operation members provide gradual shift of the laser beam, and the embedment of elastic elements into two rings of indentations on the first and second operation members provides stepwise fine adjustment to the laser beam.

A camera sighting device, configured for securing about a firearm, the sighting device housed in a housing, with a smart phone or smart device mounting platform rotatably coupled thereon, with an additional rear viewing camera, integral or attachable to an armature. This said armature, additionally passes through an open portion of a clamping device, that is attachable to a threaded base portion, of the back side of said smart device mounting platform, and is both height and angularly adjustable. This said sighting device, provides the target image that is either received from other target viewing devices mounted on the firearm, or provides its own target image, to the smart device, where this said target image is viewable by the user, from any position that the user could position himself in relation to the firearm, by means of the said rotatable smartphone or smart device mounting platform. The image of the area behind the user would also be provided at the same time, by means of the said height and angularly adjustable rear viewing camera, that would either display its image simultaneously in a window of, or on, a split screen on the smart device's viewing screen, or would provide the image behind the user simultaneously, in its own viewing screen.

ATTACHMENT BRACKET FOR MOUNTING A SIGHT OR OTHER TARGETING DEVICE TO A BOW FOR HUNTING AT NIGHT
20190178605 · 2019-06-13 ·

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a mounting bracket for coupling a sight or other targeting device to a bow. In an illustrative example, the sight may be a thermal or night-vision sight, and an electronic device may optically couple to the sight for displaying a view through the sight on a display screen of the electronic device. The sight may fixedly couple to the mounting bracket via, for example, a Picatinny-style rail/mount. An on-the-fly windage/elevation adjustment mechanism may allow for adjustments, for example, to the windage and/or elevation of the sight coupled to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket may utilize, for example, a thermal or night-vision sight that may be beneficial for use in low light conditions, such as bow hunting at night.

Firearm accessory mounting interface

An accessory mounting interface for a firearm, and a related method, are disclosed. The interface has a firearm accessory, a first elongated fastener, and a second fastener rotationally mated to the first elongated fastener. The first elongated fastener has right-handed threading and is arranged through a through hole in the firearm accessory with a first end extending below first and second halves of a first slot protrusion of the firearm accessory. The second fastener has a length greater than a width, the length measured along a longitudinal axis of the second fastener, the second fastener having a plurality of straight edges. At least one of the plurality of straight edges prevents the second fastener from rotating further than a closed position when the at least one of the straight edges abuts a sidewall of an elongated slot in the firearm.
