Mobile Aircraft Secondary Barrier Cart
A Mobile Aircraft Secondary Barrier Cart which includes a main housing, with at least two retractable and expandable rigid barriers or a soft non-porous curtain that rise up from the main housing and encompass the entire forward galley/main cabin entrance and locks into place. The rigid barriers, when present, generally wedge into a female channel surrounding forward galley/main cabin entrance to hold the rigid barriers in placed. The purpose of the Mobile Aircraft Secondary Barrier Cart and the included curtain is to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the Flightdeck when it is unlocked during flight.
Armouring system for self-propelled work machines
The armouring system for a self-propelled work machine (1) comprises: a cab frame (10) for the machine (1); and a plurality of armouring elements (21, 22, 23, 24, 25), made of armoured material, adapted to be fixed removably to respective portions of the frame (10), in order to define an armoured cab (2).
Cabin assembly
A vehicle includes a frame, tractive assemblies engaging the frame, a cabin configured to contain at least one operator during operation of the vehicle, and a mount configured to pivotably couple the cabin to the frame. The mount includes a boss coupled to the cabin and defining a first aperture, a first bracket defining a second aperture, a pin extending through the first and second apertures, a second bracket coupled to the frame, and a pair of isolators extending between the first bracket and the second bracket. The isolators are configured to couple the first bracket to the second bracket and to reduce the transfer of vibrations between the frame and the cabin. The cabin is configured to rotate between use position and maintenance positions. The cabin is positioned near the frame in the use position and rotated away from the frame in the maintenance position.
Retractable Barrier System
A retractable barrier system and method for using the same is described herein. The retractable barrier system can include a retractable barrier made of one or more panels made of bullet resistant material and configured to fit across a doorway of a room. The panels can include one or more docking stations for housing a body armor unit. During a crisis event, the retractable barrier can be extending and secured across a doorway and multiple users can retrieve and don a body armor unit.
Compact Vehicle Door Protector
A compact vehicle door protector that protects any type of vehicle such as but not limited to a car, truck, sports utility vehicle, van, aircraft, which is easy and quick to install, and removable from vehicle, compact before and after use, and more importantly servers as an auto door shield, capable of protecting the driver and occupants of the vehicle from harmful bullets, while the extant vehicle is stationary or in motion.
IMPACT RESISTANT GARAGE DOOR
A garage door assembly provides resistance to both bullets and impacts while enabling the garage door to move between a horizontal open position and a vertical closed position. The garage door is formed with panels having a front impact shield, a rear plate, and high strength ballistic material sandwiched therebetween. Each panel is formed with a rearwardly extending structure that incorporates lateral extensions of the ballistic material in the panel and forms a hollow portion that encircles a bollard on opposing sides of the garage door. Each panel has a horizontal end cap at the opposing horizontal edges thereof, interconnected by opposing threaded members to encapsulate the sandwich construction of the panels. A cable overlapping the panels can be clamped to horizontal edges of each panel to reinforce the central portion of the garage door. The thickness of the front impact shield varies the resistance characteristics of the door.
DUAL SIDE DOORS VEHICLE FOR PROTECTING SOLDIERS FROM MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS ATTACK
The double side doors armored vehicle combines hinged side door with a foldable top screen and a foldable bottom panel, overlaid by a gullwing door in a vehicle body together in a specific arrangement to form a half-closed space for providing multiple direction shields to soldier and police when all of doors and panels are opened. The opening gullwing doors can protect attacks from high building. The opening swing doors can protect from front, right, and left. The standing up top screens and unfold bottom panels extend protection to soldier's head and legs. The vehicle provides multiple directions protection as a mobile shield that is stronger than personal protection devices. It can be a man driven car or an autonomous vehicle. It can be used as leading vehicle, or used in group for protecting marching soldiers. It can be a checking post, a block, an information collecting center.
Security door
A stile and rail ballistic security door containing bullet proof materials within a metal or synthetic material frame including a plurality of window panes and thermal break means to eliminate condensation problems therein. The door contains a multi-layer exterior core providing extra strength and rigidity.
Bullet resistant garage door assembly and kit therefor
A ballistic garage door assembly and a kit for converting a standard garage door uses sheets of ballistic material secured to the exterior shell of the standard garage door panels along with inserts at the joints between adjacent garage door panels. Joint inserts applied to the horizontal ends of the garage door panels provide bullet resistant characteristics at the joints. Aluminum sheets with multiple plies of ballistic material between the aluminum sheets are applied to the entire garage door shell. Insulated foam is place on the innermost aluminum sheet to provide additional ballistic performance for the converted garage door. Increased levels of ballistic protection will utilize thicker aluminum panels and an additional external ballistic bumper to increase ballistic performance of the joints between the garage door panels. The outward aesthetic appearance of the garage door does not change appreciably, although a door lift with greater horsepower may be required.
