BARRIER FOR A DEPLOYMENT UNIT OF A CONDUCTED ELECTRICAL WEAPON
A deployment unit for use with a handle of a conducted electrical weapon (“CEW”). The deployment unit includes wire-tethered electrodes for launching toward a human or animal target for providing a current through the target to impede locomotion of the target. The deployment unit includes a barrier that prior to use with the handle protects the deployment unit from electrostatic discharge. Prior to use of the deployment unit, the barrier may further protect the deployment unit from ingress of dirt and/or moisture into the deployment unit. While the deployment unit is inserted into a handle, the barrier shields conductors of the handle and the deployment unit to facilitate delivery of a launch signal from the handle to the deployment unit to launch the wire-tethered electrodes.
ELECTRIC SHOCK SELF-DEFENCE CARTRIDGE AND DEVICE
According to one embodiment an electric shock self-defence cartridge is provided that includes a distal body in which one or more application means is housed, and a proximal body in which a wire is housed. The proximal body includes coupling means and electric connection means for being joined with the electric shock self-defence device. Compression means is arranged between the distal body and the proximal body for keeping the distal body shifted towards a rest position. The application means is housed in the distal body, such that in use, when the distal body is in contact with an assailant, the distal body shifts with respect to the proximal body from the rest position towards an actuation position in which the application means projects from the distal body to be adhered to the assailant's body.
Safety guard for conductive energy weapon ammunition and related methods
A safety guard for an ammunition cartridge (cartridge) of a conductive energy weapon (CEW) includes a body having a first electrical contact on a first side of the body and a second electrical contact on a second side of the body opposite the first side of the body. The first and second electrical contacts are in electrical communication with each other through the body. The first and second electrical contacts are configured to contact a first electrode of the cartridge and a second electrode of the cartridge, respectively, when the body is placed over the cartridge. The safety guard is configured to prevent the cartridge from firing when a firing input, such as a trigger pull, is received by the CEW from a user. In implementations the body includes at least one clip having a projection configured to be inserted in a corresponding depression of the cartridge of the CEW.
Actuatable multi-bay conducted electrical weapon
An actuatable bay conducted electrical weapon comprises a plurality of bays. Each of the bays is configured to releasably receive a deployment unit comprising one or more electrodes. At least one of the bays the plurality of bays is coupled to a body of the conducted electrical weapon via a respective movable member. Each respective movable member is coupled to the body of the conducted electrical weapon by a respective kinematic joint. Responsive to an activation of a control interface, each respective movable member is configured to move about each respective kinematic joint to an expanded position, wherein a distance between each of the bays of the plurality of bays is greater in the expanded position than in a collapsed position. The increased distance is configured to provide a greater initial spread between the one or more electrodes to increase a likelihood of causing NMI in a target.
Garment supported electrode
An electrode assembly attaches to a garment using a pad supporting one or more electrodes for mounting against an inner surface of the garment and a housing arranged to be supported externally on the garment. Connectors on the pad and the housing are arranged to be penetrated through the garment in a non-destructive manner to form a mechanical connection between the pad and the housing that also conductively connects the electrodes on the pad to an electronic component in the housing whereby an electrical signal can be communicated to the electrodes from the housing, for example to deliver an electrical impulse generated by the electronic component through the electrodes in a painful yet non-injurious manner to the user.
Wearable safety device
A wearable safety device, including a main body, a wearable cord disposed on at least a portion of the main body to suspend the main body while being worn, and a circuit board disposed within at least a portion of an interior of the main body and connected to the wearable cord to notify at least one of police and at least one authorized person in response to at least one of the wearable cord detaching from the circuit board and the wearable cord being severed.
WEARABLE SELF DEFENSE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SELF DEFENSE
A wearable self-defense apparatus has a body portion configured to be worn on or around a body part and includes a one or more deterrent devices such as an audible deterrent, a light deterrent or a high voltage transmitter deterrent for deterring an attacker. A controller is configured to control one or more operations of the apparatus to allow activation of the one or more deterrents upon detection of an activation motion by a gesture detector. An alert message may be sent to one or more alert contacts via a wireless transmitter directly or through a wireless connection with a mobile device. A global positioning system may provide a location of the apparatus to an alert contact upon activation, and a call center may call the wearer of the apparatus to confirm their safety. The high voltage transmitter is configured to charge conductors to transmit high voltage to an attacker.
A SECURITY OUTFIT
In one aspect, the preset invention is directed to a security outfit, comprising a stabbing and cutting resistant outfit; a stabbing and cutting resistant gloves; and a controllable electroshocking system including a plurality of electroshocking terminals dispersed on an external side of the outfit and gloves; wherein the electroshocking system comprising an active state, being a state in which the terminals are active; and an idle state, being a state in which the electroshocking terminals are suspended.
PRISONER CONTROL DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A system and related methods are disclosed. The system has a first wearable device to be worn by a first person, a control module, a GPS receiver module, and a wireless receiver, the double lock configured to activate the control module when the double lock is locked and to disable the control module when the double lock is unlocked. The body protects the control module from ingress of fluids. The system has a second wearable device to be worn by a second person, having a GPS receiver module, a transmitter and activation switch. The system has a server. The system transmits a signal the first wearable device or the second wearable device in response to a determining. The control module has a storage having a unique identifier assigned to the first wearable device and a unique identifier assigned to the first person.
Stun gun with illumination and siren
The invention relates to a stun gun with illumination and siren. The stun gun generates a high-voltage pulse instantaneously through the transformer, stuns the contacted creature into dazed or shock for self-defense. The function of existing stun gun is relatively single, and the structure is not compact enough, it is inconvenient for use. If integrating more function in the existing stun gun, the structure of the stun gun will be complicated and it will be even more inconvenient for use.
