Drone mitigation methods and apparatus
Systems and methods for drone mitigation, or the deterrence of aerial drones from flying in an given area, are described. The systems and methods take advantage of the fact that destabilization of a drone can be accomplished by externally changing the performance of one or more of its propeller driven systems. In doing so, the drone is incapable of maintaining stability in flight, thereby causing the remote controlled pilot to force a retreat, or risk and result in a crash of the drone. Embodiments utilizing sonic energy and liquids are described.
Active shooter shield system
Examples herein describe systems and methods for securing an opening and disorienting an active shooter. A command device can send a deployment command to a zone in a building. In response, canopies in the zone can deploy a roll-up door made of Kevlar that electromagnetically locks shut. The canopies can include blindingly bright lights and deafening sirens that disorient the shooter. The doors can block off rooms or other areas of a school where children can huddle safely until the shooter is apprehended. Canopies without doors can also be used at some openings to disorient the shooter.
Electronic irritation device
An electronic irritation device includes a plurality of electronic irritation signal modules. Each of the modules has at least one emitter for emitting optical or acoustic irritation signals, and additionally a connection device for coupling the plurality of irritation signal modules to one another and an unlocking device for automatically unlocking the connection device in order to decouple the plurality of irritation signal modules from one another and thereby distribute them spatially. Distributing a plurality of irritation signal modules makes it possible to increase the probability of an irritation effect upon deployment of a single irritation device.
NON-LETHAL CROWD-CONTROL SYSTEM
The invention herein disclosed is a non-lethal crowd-control system that uses ultrasonic sound waves to induce disarming sensations of tickling/tingling upon persons in a hostile/violent crowd who are located within a zone of desired crowd control. The sensations can cause persons to cease current behavior and attempt to eliminate the sensations. Moving backwards out of the areal zone of control will reduce or eliminate the sensations. As a result a control zone area is established without use of batons, sprays or rubber-bullet loaded weaponry.
Systems, Methods, and Articles For Behavioral Disorder Monitoring and Treatment
Systems, methods, and articles are disclosed for the behavioral treatment of an individual. One embodiment comprising a wearable housing assembly further comprising a microcontroller, charging jack port, status monitor, selection element, sensor array, and deterring member attached to the user via a connection strap, adjustment belt, frame, prong, and adjustment hole. The user selects the input/output properties of the microcontroller, status monitor, sensor array, and deterring member using the selection element. Upon performing an undesirable emotional outburst, the user is automatically administered a deterrence element, causing the cognizance of, or the inability to engage in, the undesirable behavior. Other embodiments are described and shown.
Multitask multifunction apparatus for building inspection
A multifunction multitask apparatus for use in building inspections is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a portable case comprising a grippable handle, a mini-desk, lighting elements and a plurality of sensors for building structure inspection. The apparatus includes a power source in electric communication with a sensor. The apparatus may include a variety of sensors including a voltage tester, a circuit polarity sensor, and ambient air testing sensor, and ambient temperature sensor, and ambient humidity sensor, a moisture meter, a radon sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor, and an airborne toxin sensor. Other embodiments of the invention may include safety features including a first-aid cat, a chemical spray deterrent device, and a tactical prong. Other embodiments may include lights including a laser pointer, an LED light, an a focused light beam.
Universal police loudspeaker
A universal police speaker includes an inner cavity, a voice coil, a magnet, a support plate, a diaphragm and a protecting cover to form a dome speaker structure. The inner cavity is filled with a sound absorbing material; the voice coil is installed around the inner cavity; the magnet is installed around the voice coil; the support plate is installed between the voice coil and the magnet; the diaphragm is installed at the top of the inner cavity; and the protecting cover is installed at the diaphragm. The speaker further includes a level bracket for placing the inner cavity, the voice coil, the magnet, the support plate, the diaphragm and the protecting cover, and the level bracket is disposed at the top of a car body of a police car. The invention can improve the anti-violence capability of the police speaker.
Electronic flashbang
The present invention provides an electronic flashbang device including solid state electronics to produce and control sound and light emissions. The device comprises a housing disposed with at least twelve high intensity LEDs at an exterior surface. The housing further includes at least two high decibel sirens. The device further includes a rechargeable batteries to feed power to the LEDs and sirens. A safety switch is incorporated at the outer surface of the housing to activate the electronic flashbang device. On operation of the device, the LEDs are configured to generate brighter light emission and the sirens are configured to emit an intensely loud noise pulse, thereby disables the target for a short period of time allowing safer entry without any fire, soft tissue injury to the target, user or infrastructure.
Apparatus for incapacitating an active shooter
I disclose an apparatus for incapacitating an active shooter. The apparatus is easy enough for an untrained person to disable, but not kill, an armed assailant. Lifting the main unit out of a discreet docking station unfurls spring-loaded bullet-resistant shields and a bullet-resistant apron. This motion also releases an alarm button which automatically calls local law enforcement. Simple thumb-operated triggers unleash blinding light, deafening sound waves and a potent chemical irritant toward an attacker up to 30 yards away.
