Deterrent device attachment having light source with thermal management

Deterrent device attachments are provided each having a light emitting thermal source positioned by a support board to emit light from within a housing of the deterrent device, with the support board bent to provide surface areas to dissipate heat generated by the light emitter.

Electronic irritation device

An electronic irritation device includes a plurality of electronic irritation signal modules. Each of the modules has at least one emitter for emitting optical or acoustic irritation signals, and additionally a connection device for coupling the plurality of irritation signal modules to one another and an unlocking device for automatically unlocking the connection device in order to decouple the plurality of irritation signal modules from one another and thereby distribute them spatially. Distributing a plurality of irritation signal modules makes it possible to increase the probability of an irritation effect upon deployment of a single irritation device.

Methods and systems fort operating one or more light sources to project adversarial patterns generated to disorient a machine learning based detection system, comprising generating one or more adversarial patterns configured to disorient the machine learning based detection system and operating one or more light sources configured to project one or more of the adversarial pattern(s) in association with the targeted object in order to disorient the machine learning based detection system.

DEFENSE SYSTEM FOR BUILDING INTERIOR
20210007201 · 2021-01-07 ·

A passive defense system that utilizes a plurality of high intensity visible lights to reduce the number of targets in view of attacker(s) or aggressor(s) and to disorient and possibly incapacitate the attacker(s) or aggressor(s). The defense system includes a plurality of high intensity light sources controlled by a control system that can be activated by physical switches, by a central control station, by remote access, or even automatically by a gunshot detection sensor. The light intensity, placement of lights, and strobe effects produce a system to deter or defeat armed attackers or other aggressors.

Heating device as well as method for mounting a heating device

A heating device, in particular a gas-heating system, including a housing structure and an external housing, the external housing having at least one sidewall and at least one cover, which are able to be fixed in place on the housing structure. The at least one cover is developed to position the at least one sidewall in at least one direction in space relative to the housing structure. A method for mounting a heating device is also described.

Self-defense apparatus

A self-defense apparatus includes a sleeve portion and an adapter connected to the sleeve portion. The sleeve portion includes a proximal end surface, an outer side surface, and a distal end surface. The sleeve portion defines an implement-receiving cavity that extends axially into the proximal end surface. The sleeve portion defines an adapter-receiving passage that extends axially into the distal end surface. A proximal portion of the outer side surface defines a handle portion that includes one or more finger grooves. A distal portion of the outer side surface defines an adapter-interfacing body. A first portion of the adapter body is disposed within the adapter-receiving passage. A second portion of the adapter body extends beyond the distal end surface. A distal portion of the second portion of the adapter body defines a conical body.

TACTICAL UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE

An unmanned vehicle capable of operating in harsh environments is disclosed. The unmanned vehicle includes an aerial platform, a piloting system supported by the aerial platform, a medium source supported by the aerial platform, and a control system having a processor running computer executable code that actuates the medium source to emit a medium away from the aerial vehicle with an intensity sufficient to disorient a subject when the medium interacts with an exteroceptive sense of a subject.

FLASHLIGHT WITH INTEGRATED SELF-DEFENSE DEVICE
20200400304 · 2020-12-24 ·

A device for discharging the contents of a spray canister, wherein the device has a safety button, and wherein the safety button is configured to guard against accidental discharge of the contents of the spray canister. The safety button is further configured to snap into position either on a safety ON or OFF position and stay in either position until toggled. A discharge trigger is configured to be operated by pushing the safety button sideways to the safety OFF position and then pushing the discharge trigger forward to expel the content of the spray canister. A tumbler tongue is configured to slide into the central housing opening when the safety button is in the ON position, rendering the discharge trigger immovable. A cam follower pin is configured to slide along the tumbler cam contour.

Tactical advantage flashlight
