FISHING HEAD WITH RETRACTABLE BLADES FOR BOWFISHING
20220394960 · 2022-12-15 ·

Fisherman bowfish by using a bow with an arrow having a fishing head on an arrow. The arrow is shot at the fish using the bow, with a fishing line attached to the arrow. A tip portion of a body of the fishing head impacts the fish and movement, resulting in movement between the body and a plunger along an impact axis. This movement causes the plunger to contact blades retracted within the body, such that the blades pivot from a retracted position to an extended position. In the extended position, the blades engage the fish, such that the blades engage the fish if the fishing head is pulled backward in the direction of entry into the fish. For removal, the fishing head is pushed along the same direction of entry, which causes the blades to automatically retract.

Magnetic dart game with interchangeable game targets
20220381540 · 2022-12-01 ·

A magnetic dart game. Darts are formed with a strong magnet portion in the front instead of a metal point. The front of the darts includes an impact or an elastomeric impact stop, which absorbs the force from the dart hitting the board, facilitating the dart sticking on the board in the location where it hits. The board is also magnetic and includes a magnetic vinyl printed section that contains the game board or target, which is used to play the game. This target can be changed to play either the games provided with the product or those designed and printed by the consumer. The dart system is formed with magnetic legs which are removable and also a magnetic scorer, with a portion of the scorer that moves up and down on a paddle, thus enabling the score to be kept magnetically.

A crossbow including a center rail including a bottom portion, a proximal end, and a distal end positioned opposite the proximal end, the center rail at least partially defining a crossbow length and a midpoint plane intersecting a horizontal midpoint of the crossbow, a riser extending horizontally from the distal end, one or more limbs coupled to the riser, and a trigger extending from the bottom portion of the center rail and positioned within ten percent of the crossbow length from the midpoint plane.

Foam dart having a safety cap

A toy dart includes a deformable cap that safely impacts a target. The cap includes two layers of openings that provide spaces that allow the cap to deform. The lower layer, having two openings, is supported by exterior posts and an interior wall between the two openings. The upper layer, having two openings, is supported by exterior posts and an interior wall that is laterally offset from the interior wall of the lower layer. The upper and lower layers are separated vertically by a substantially flat divider. The upper layer is more rigid than the lower layer such that the lower layer of the cap deforms more than the upper layer of the cap upon initial impact with the target.

A broadhead blade gravity lock and inertia release apparatus and method consists of a. support structure with a locking pin channel. A blade is attached with the support structure such that the blade is movable from a first position to a second position. A pressure device is connected with the blade where the pressure device is configured to apply pressure to the blade. A locking pin is located in the locking pin channel where the locking pin is free to move toward and away from the blade within the locking pin channel and where the locking pin is configured to releasably connect with the blade such that when the blade is connected with the locking pin the blade is held in the first position by the pressure on the blade and where compressive force on the blade releases the blade from the locking pin such that the pressure device then pressures the blade to the second position and where, when connection with the blade is removed, the locking pin is free to move away from the blade within the locking pin channel.
