OPTIMIZED SUBSONIC PROJECTILES
20190323805 · 2019-10-24 ·

Various embodiments of optimized subsonic projectiles are provided. For example, one exemplary subsonic projectile can include an elliptical nose cone, a cylindrical body and a boattail with various design features that can be used in a subsonic ammunition cartridge where the subsonic projectile is stabile throughout at least a segment of a flight allowing for better accuracy, maintaining low drag, maximizing range and achieving desired performance while ensuring the projectile stays below the speed of sound and lowering a noise profile of projectile and a launcher firing the projectile.

Foam darts with reporting cap
10408584 · 2019-09-10 ·

The present invention generally relates to an improved foam dart that operates with improved accuracy. The shaft of the foam dart is shaped with indentions that direct airflow around the dart to improve its accuracy. The dart tip is also connected through a rigid neck portion that further improves the accuracy of the dart during use. An alternative embodiment allows the user to place a pop cap within the dart tip that will explode to cause a loud bang when the dart contacts a hard object at the end of its flight.

Projectile having leading surface standoffs

A projectile has a base, a tip, and a body axis intersecting the base at a trailing axis point and the tip at a leading axis point. The projectile includes a meplat that is substantially orthogonal to the body axis and a plurality of standoffs that extend away from both the trailing axis point and the leading axis point.
