Cartridge with improved penetration and expansion bullet
A cartridge with a bullet has desirable penetration capabilities and controlled separation of components upon terminal impact. In embodiments of the invention, the bullet comprises a forward component, a lead core, and a copper jacket. The bullet having a forward nose portion with a plurality of cutaways spaced circumferentially about the nose portion. The copper jacket having a leading edge portion positioned at the cutaways.

Method of making a metal injection molded ammunition cartridge
The present invention provides a method of making a metal injection molded ammunition cartridge comprising the steps of: providing an ammunition cartridge mold comprising a bottom portion having a primer recess extending into the bottom portion adapted to receive a primer, a flash hole positioned in the primer recess through the bottom surface; side walls extending from the bottom portion to a nose end aperture, wherein a propellant chamber is formed between the nose end aperture and the bottom surface; injecting a metal composition into the ammunition cartridge mold to form a metal injection molded ammunition cartridge; and removing the metal injection molded ammunition cartridge from the ammunition cartridge mold.
Solid core less-lethal projectile
A solid core less-lethal projectile is a frangible projectile which generally includes a hollow body, a solid core, a support structure, and a payload material. The hollow body can be formed by two hollow hemispherical bodies that are joined. The hollow body defines a closed interior cavity in which the core is contained. The support structure is disposed inside the cavity. The support structure can be a plurality of ribs configured to confine the core at a center of the cavity and space the core from the sidewalls of the hollow body. The ribs can protrude from an interior surface the hollow body to the core. The ribs can extend centripetally from the interior surface to the core. The payload material substantially fills the cavity around the core and the ribs. The core is configured to stabilize the projectile during flight toward a target. The core can be a spherical metallic ball.
Rear deploying broadhead
The present invention is a rear-deploying broadhead with an outer housing, an inner spine, and at least two blades pivotally attached to the inner spine, with the inner spine having a first end with a plunger end, and a second end which is pointed. The outer housing has a first closed end that terminates proximal the body to an arrow shaft and a second end which is open. The inner spine is shorter than the outer housing and disposed in the center of the outer housing, with the plunger end seated inside the outer housing adjacent the first end of the outer housing. The two blades are configured to deploy through the open lateral sides of the outer housing upon movement of the inner spine toward the end of the outer housing. The broadhead has an coating of latex until the broadhead impacts a target, at which point the blades deploy through the coating.

BULLETS
The invention relates to a bullet which includes a bullet-shaped body having a forward-facing central cavity with at least one concentric socket formation defining an inverted frusto-conical shoulder and an elongated insert having a longitudinal trailing shaft portion receivable in a mouth of the forward-facing central cavity of reduced diameter. The elongated insert includes an expansion portion being defined by at least one ball-shaped segment extending forward from the trailing shaft portion, of which the expansion portion fits into the concentric socket formation.
