Lead-free partial fragmentation bullet with separation mechanism between the rear of the bullet and bullet ogive
The invention relates to a lead-free partial fragmentation bullet comprising a bullet jacket, a rear core compressed therein, and a nose core compressed in the ogive region, wherein the tip core sits on the rear core. In order that the rear core does not separate from the contacting bullet jacket upon striking a target body and to thereby guarantee a sure exit wound out of the target body, a predetermined breaking point is proposed which is arranged between the rear core and the nose core. The rear core has a molded recess on the end thereof facing the nose core, the end of the nose core facing the tail core fills in said recess, and the bullet jacket has a peripheral break away edge on the outer circumference in the region of the predetermined breaking point.

Solid core less-lethal projectile
A solid core less-lethal projectile is a frangible projectile which generally includes a hollow body, a solid core, a support structure, and a payload material. The hollow body can be formed by two hollow hemispherical bodies that are joined. The hollow body defines a closed interior cavity in which the core is contained. The support structure is disposed inside the cavity. The support structure can be a plurality of ribs configured to confine the core at a center of the cavity and space the core from the sidewalls of the hollow body. The ribs can protrude from an interior surface the hollow body to the core. The ribs can extend centripetally from the interior surface to the core. The payload material substantially fills the cavity around the core and the ribs. The core is configured to stabilize the projectile during flight toward a target. The core can be a spherical metallic ball.
SEGMENTING PISTOL BULLET
A bullet having a generally cup-shaped jacket, a core disposed inside the jacket, and partially divided into a plurality of segments by a plurality of slits formed therein is mounted at the front of the jacket. A tip is mounted in the core. The tip has a plurality of notches formed its forwardly facing ogival surface; each notch having a forward end adjacent the forward end of the tip, and a rear end rearward of the rearwardly facing shoulder and the front end of the jacket, so that material from the target can enter the jacket and help open the jacket and release the core.
Advanced aerodynamic projectile and method of making same
A projectile is improved aerodynamically by cutting grooves having parabolic transitions between the depth of the groove and the bearing surface. An ejectable tip is attached to the leading edge of the projectile to facilitate greater ballistic coefficient during flight and improved expansion upon impact at a soft target.

Reduced diameter broadhead
The disclosure relates to broadheads wherein the diameter of the ferrule is relatively smaller than the diameter of the shaft of the arrow or crossbow bolt to which the broadhead is attached. A collar is provided for a smooth transition between the ferrule and the shaft.
Collar for a reduced diameter broadhead
The disclosure relates to a collar for a reduced diameter broadhead wherein a diameter of a ferrule of the broadhead is relatively smaller than an outside diameter of a shaft of an arrow or crossbow bolt to which the broadhead is attached. The collar includes a plurality of spaced-apart tabs, each configured for retaining at least one of a plurality of blades in a retracted position during flight and permitting the retained blade to deploy after the broadhead impacts the target. An outside diameter of the collar at a distal end thereof is substantially equal to the diameter of the ferrule, and an outside diameter of the collar at a proximal end thereof is substantially equal to the outside diameter of the shaft. An outside surface of the collar at the distal end thereof is substantially flush with an outside surface of the ferrule.
Broadhead with extendable blades and hollow cylindrical sliding portion
A broadhead mountable to an arrow shaft for striking a target, upon striking impact is created which deploys the broadhead from a pre-deployment configuration to a post-deployment configuration. The broadhead including a longitudinally extending body, which includes a means for retaining a plurality of mechanically expandable blades while in a post-deployment configuration. The longitudinally extending body including a means for securing the plurality of mechanically expandable blades to the body while in both the pre-deployment configuration and the post-deployment configuration. The broadhead includes a means for not deploying the blades until impact with the target. The broadhead includes a means for deploying a front blade upon impact. The means for deploying the front blade upon impact is mounted over the longitudinally extending body with an alignment position to secure each blade and to set the broadhead in the pre-deployment configuration.
