A subsoil tool for ameliorating soil compaction having a shank attached to a toolbar of a tractor, wings on forward wing links pivotally engaged to the shank, and following wings on a wing rod pivotally engaged with the forward wing link. The forward wing links are positioned near the bottom of the shank in front of the rear of the shank. The wing rod is positioned behind the shank. A drive box having a hydraulic cylinder is engaged to the toolbar and pivotally engaged with the wing rod. In use, a portion of the subsoil tool may be inserted below a surface of the soil, the height of the subsoil tool may be adjusted, the subsoil tool may be rotated, and the hydraulic cylinder may be cycled to move the forward wings and following wings.

Universal frame and implement system

A small-scale land prep and maintenance equipment system includes a universal frame with a tongue element that includes an implement connection point (such as a through-hole or threaded hole) configured for receiving a saddle and bolt aspect of an implement. Advantageously, the implement connection point of the universal frame and the saddle of the implement provide for a robust and rigid connection between the universal frame and an implement while also enabling quick changeover of landscaping implements. Moreover, because the universal frame may be used on any number of implements, the cost of an integrated frame in each implement is avoided.

Depth Control For Ground Engaging Tools Of An Implement
20200045868 · 2020-02-13 ·

The present inventors have recognized that hydraulic cylinders for raising and lowering ground engaging tools of an implement can be synchronously controlled with respect to a prioritized primary set of tools, such as a section of tillage shanks for ripping compacted soil, which cylinder adjustment affects all other sections due to the arrangement of the primary set on the frame. A user can electronically command new ground engaging depths for the primary set and/or any secondary set of ground engaging tools. If the primary set is updated, the system can synchronously control the primary set and the other sections to adjust respective cylinders to achieve desired depths. However, if only a second set is updated, and not the primary set, the system can control only the second set to adjust its cylinder to the desired depth without affecting the primary set or any other second set.

Method for determining a weight of a payload for a utility vehicle

A method is provided for determining a weight of a payload carried by a support structure of an agricultural utility vehicle via a hitch. The hitch includes at least one upper link and at least one lower link. The method includes determining the weight based on at least one of (1) an angle between the upper link and a vehicle horizontal, and (2) a holding force that arises at a connection between the upper link and the payload and is effective along the upper link.

Electric work vehicle

An electric work vehicle includes a work device, a battery, a motor drivable on electric power supplied by the battery, a travel device drivable by the motor, and a hydraulic pump positioned next to the motor and drivable by the motor to supply operating fluid to an operating mechanism of the work device.
