CURRENT FEED-THROUGH WIRELINE RELEASE TOOL AND METHOD
A wireline release tool for downhole intervention, the tool including a housing having an electrical input and an electrical output; a pass-through switch located inside the housing and electrically connected between the electrical input and the electrical output; and a current limiter device located inside the housing and electrically connected between the electrical input and the electrical output. The pass-through switch is connected in parallel to the current limiter device, between the electrical input and the electrical output
Downline wire
A downline wire (10) serves to connect a location on the ground surface to at least one detonator (52) in a blast hole. The downline wire includes at least two flexible electrical conductors (12, 14) encased by respective flexible layers of an insulating material (20, 22) and a flexible sheath (24) in which the insulated conductors are embedded. Each conductor (12, 14) is made of a copper-clad steel core and the insulating material is either a filled flexible polyvinylchloride (PVC) composition or a polyester elastomer. The sheath (24) is made from a medium or high density polyethylene compound which includes carbon black.

Wireless initiation device
A wireless initiation device comprises a power source, a processing module, a first housing and an initiation unit. The processing module processes wireless electromagnetic communications signals received by an electromagnetic receiver system associated with the processing module. The wireless electromagnetic communications signals includes a wireless electromagnetic communications signal representative of a FIRE command. The processing module is configured to generate an initiation signal upon receipt of the FIRE command. At least one of the power source and the processing module is disposed in the first housing, and the first housing has a first connector. The initiation unit has a second housing within which is disposed an initiation module that is configured to discharge initiation energy sufficient to initiate an explosive charge associated with the device. The initiation module is connected to, or connectable with, the processing module such that initiation module can receive an initiation signal from the processing module. The initiation unit also has a second connector that is configured to mate with the first connector, thereby connecting the first and second housings. The initiation module is configured to execute a sequence upon receipt of the initiation signal, the sequence resulting in discharge of initiation energy from the initiation unit.

STACKABLE PROPELLANT MODULE FOR GAS GENERATION
This disclosure provides a stackable propellant module for use inside of a gas generation canister. The modules are designed to enable them to be individually fired rather than as a unitary mass, as done in conventional configurations. This enables the generation of a controlled pressure profile rather than an uncontrolled pressure profile determined by the environmental conditions downhole, such as temperature and pressure.
PERFORATING GUN WITH DETONATION MODULE
An apparatus for selectively firing a perforating gun having a plurality of gun assemblies may include an end plate, a portion of a signal communication circuit, an initiator assembly, and an initiating element. The end plate has a cavity formed by at least a first passage intersecting a second passage. The first passage extends from a planar end face of the end plate and the second passage extends from a circumferential surface of the end plate. The portion of a signal communication circuit is disposed in the end plate and conveys signals between the first gun and the second gun. The initiator assembly is at least partially disposed in the first passage. The initiating element is sized to pass through the second passage. The initiating element is also configured to electrically couple to the portion of the signal communication circuit and to thermally couple to the initiator assembly when at least partially seated in the first passage.
DETONATION CONNECTOR HAVING EXPOSURE PART FOR TAGGING
The present disclosure relates to a detonation connector having an exposure part for tagging, the detonation connector includes: an electrically conductive wire-connecting bracket member having a plurality of electric wire mounting grooves to which a leg line or a leading line is mounted; a lower casing member at which the wire-connecting bracket member is positioned; and an upper casing member covering the lower casing member, wherein the upper casing member or the lower casing member is provided with a tagging exposure part that exposes a part of the wire-connecting bracket member wire-connecting the leg line and the leading line, so that the tagging work of charging initialization time to a detonator can be performed without opening the upper casing member, and the convenience and the efficiency of the tagging work can be improved.
