Agricultural machine, in particular a machine for harvesting plants, comprising two driven work units articulated to a same lateral arm
An agricultural machine including a chassis carrying an arm including first and second ends, a first unit connected to the arm and extending laterally between the first and second ends, a second unit connected to the arm and extending laterally beyond the second end, a device connecting the second unit to the arm in vicinity of its second end and allowing it to swivel relative to the arm around a second longitudinal axis close to the second end, a mechanism driving elements of the first and second units and carried by the arm in vicinity of the second end. The device includes an axis oriented upwards during work around which the mechanism is mounted with swiveling action on the arm, and the mechanism and at least one of the first and second units can, in a lateral position of the arm relative to the chassis, jointly swivel around the axis.
WIDE AREA TURF MOWER
A wide area turf mower (10) has a wheel supported main frame (12) and cutting units (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34) movably connected to the main frame (12) and positioned in rows (36, 38, 40) in a staggered order to form a mower cutting configuration for cutting a continuous swath of turf between any two outer cutting units (26, 32) located respectively on opposite sides of the main frame (12). One row (38) of the cutting units comprises a first pair of interconnected outer and inner cutting units (26, 28) at a first side (18) of the main frame (12) and a second pair of interconnected inner and outer cutting units (30, 32) at the second side (20) of the main frame (12). The inner cutting units (28, 30) are pivotally connected to the main frame and the outer cutting units (26, 32) are pivotally connected to a respective inner cutting unit (28, 30). Hydraulic cylinders (42, 44) cause the outer cutting units (26, 32) to fold in a direction towards the rear end of the main frame (12). Hydraulic cylinders (50, 52) cause the inner cutting units (28, 30) to lift in an upward direction. A controller operates all of the hydraulic cylinders.
PICK-UP ATTACHMENT FOR A PREFERABLY SELF-PROPELLED FORAGE HARVESTER
A pick-up attachment for a preferably self-propelled forage harvester includes a pick-up rotor with pick-up implements (for picking up crops from the ground, wherein the pick-up rotor is assembled from several segments joined to one another in at least partly articulated relationship for adaptation to the contours of the ground.
Agricultural implements having row unit position sensors and a rotatable implement frame, and related control systems and methods
An implement includes an implement frame having an integrated elongate toolbar carrying at least one row unit, at least one wheel coupled to the implement frame and defining an axis of rotation, a sensor configured to sense a position of the at least one row unit relative to the ground, and a control system. The control system is configured to receive a signal related to the sensed position of the at least one row unit relative to the ground and cause a lift system to raise or lower a portion of the implement frame connected to the lift system to rotate the implement frame about the axis of rotation of the at least one wheel based at least in part on the signal. Control systems and related methods are also disclosed.
Agricultural device with an actuator between two hanging work units
An agricultural device with two work units, the device being able to occupy a work configuration and a transport configuration and comprising a support arm pivotally mounted on a chassis around a lift axis substantially parallel to the direction of advance and around which the device is pivoted to reach the various configurations mentioned above, each unit being pivotally mounted relative to the support arm around a connecting axis, each unit comprising a respective guided end and a respective free end further away from the corresponding connecting axis than its guided end. The agricultural device includes a central actuator configured to apply on each of the units a biasing force opposed to a downward pivoting movement by its free end around the corresponding connecting axis, at least in the work configuration.
