PIVOTING APPARATUS FOR ROW HEAD

row crop heads and pivoting assemblies associated with the row crop heads operable to displace a crop divider of the row crop heads during folding of a portion of the row crop head are disclosed. In some implementations, a pivoting assembly may include a first bracket coupled to a center frame of a row crop head, a second bracket coupled to a wing frame of the row crop head, and a rotatable locking component rotatably coupled to the first bracket. The rotatable locking component is operable to lock a row divider disposed at an interface between the wing frame and the center frame when the wing frame is moved from an unfolded position to a folded position relative to the center frame.

Agricultural machines with improved foldability of its lateral frames

An agricultural machine with lateral folding frames and a central frame having plates linking same to a fixed tongue placed on the machine's longitudinal symmetry axis. Attached to the plate are articulated arms. Each free end of an articulated arm is connected to its respective lateral side frame, and on each arm is articulated a respective hydraulic piston whose other end is articulated to a telescopically displaceable tongue section. The containers or hoppers are arranged on the support area provided by the running gear linked to the central frame and a portion of the fixed tongue. The hydraulic pistons achieve the folding of the lateral frames to a travel disposition, offering the machine in its folded condition a minimum width less than 4 meters, compatible with the road travel regulations.

AGRICULTURAL TOOLBAR WITH WING FLEX LOCK
20210105930 · 2021-04-15 ·

A horizontally foldable toolbar includes opposite wings having flex joints which can be selectively locked to prevent flexing of the joints when the wings are in a transport position and unlocked to permit flexing of the joints when the wings are in a field position. The lock assembly includes a hydraulic cylinder with an extendable and retractable arm. Operation of the hydraulic cylinder can be controlled by an operator remotely, such as from a tractor cab. The stroke of the hydraulic cylinder can be adjusted to accommodate wear on the wing components.

Defoliator

A defoliator having a frame suitable for mounting to a vehicle supports an elongated main support arm which extends substantially horizontally, and which has a tine-bearing main shaft which rotates to have the tines knock at least some leaves (or portions thereof) from plants beneath. The main support arm rides on wheels, and may pivot and vertically translate with respect to the frame such that the main support arm (and the tined main shaft) will generally follow the elevation and contour of the ground beneath. To defoliate greater areas, one or both ends of the main shaft may be connected to a boom arm hearing a rotating tined arm shaft, which extends the effective length of the main support arm and tined main shaft. The boom arms are preferably capable of folding rearwardly to reduce the effective size of the defoliator for easier transport.

Apparatus, Systems And Methods For Steerable Toolbars

The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a steerable toolbar. The toolbar is able to rotate relative to the tractor or other driving vehicle to reduce misalignment and/or cross-track error. Actuators can be utilized with draft links to pivot the toolbar around a central pivot point and improve the following path of the toolbar implement.

Pivoting implement frame

A lift and rotate style agricultural implement with forward folding wings is provided. The agricultural implement includes a center frame that may be operatively configured to be lifted and rotated approximately 90 degrees when switching between a field configuration and a transport configuration. Furthermore, the wings may include an inner portion and an outer portion, wherein the outer portion may be operatively configured to be rotated or pivoted approximately 180 degrees relative to the inner wing portion when switching between a field configuration and a transport configuration. The inner and outer wing portions may be connected by a hinge and the outer wing may be pivoted about the inner wing portion by a cylinder.

Manure application toolbar

Apparatus and methods for applying manure to fields. Some apparatus and methods maintain constant height of a manure supply swing pipe above the ground during use. Pivotally mounted side wings supported by tracks or wheels and carrying manure applicators such and shanks and coulters can be carried along side of and secured to the apparatus tongue in a narrow configuration above the ground for transport and deployed in a wide configuration on the ground during use. Center rear mounted manure applicators are movable off the ground for transport using hydraulics in some apparatus. Some apparatus have the pivotally mounted side wings pivoted well inside of the outer most extent of the read center region to provide a narrower transport configuration.

Tillage implement with auxiliary rollers

A tillage implement has a frame connectable to a towing vehicle and at least two transverse rows of secondary tillage tools mounted on the frame, the at least two transverse rows comprising a row of main rollers mounted on the frame rearward of all other rows of the at least two transverse rows. The implement also has a transverse row of auxiliary rollers mounted rearward of the row of main rollers, the transverse row of auxiliary rollers independently pivotable vertically about a transverse pivot axis. The implement has at least one ground-engaging wheel. Independent pivoting of the row of auxiliary rollers allows an operator to increase tillage/field finish on the go or as needed.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for shifting weight between a tractor and toolbar and between sections of the toolbar, for controlling operative height of a toolbar and sections of a toolbar and for folding a toolbar between a work position and a transport position. A ground engaging wheel and an actuator are coupled to the toolbar. In one embodiment, a fluid control system is responsive to a command signal to modify the actuator pressure such that the actuator pressure corresponds to a desired pressure.

IMPLEMENT PROTECTION SYSTEM

An agricultural system that includes a towable agricultural implement. The towable agricultural implement includes a tow bar assembly. A wing tool bar pivotally couples to the tow bar assembly or to a work vehicle. The wing tool bar is configured to transition between a deployed configuration and a retracted configuration. A plurality of row units attach to the wing tool bar. An implement protection system detects an obstruction in a path of the towable agricultural implement. The implement protection system includes a proximity sensor coupled to the towable agricultural implement. The proximity sensor emits a proximity signal indicative of the obstruction. A controller couples to the proximity sensor and receives the proximity signal indicative of the obstruction and emits a warning signal.
