Agricultural land roller implement
A land roller implement includes a main frame section, two intermediate frame sections extending laterally outward from opposing sides of the main frame section in a trailing relationship therewith in a working position, and a pair of outer frame sections extending laterally outward from respective intermediate frame sections in a leading relationship therewith in the working position. The outer frame sections are coupled to the intermediate frame sections by readily removable outer brace portions to reduce the transport width if required. Inner brace members are coupled between the main frame section and the intermediate frame sections by coupling to the outer brace portions at the outer ends and by pivoting on the main frame section about a floating axis which is coaxial with floating movement of the intermediate frame sections relative to the main frame section.
Toolbar system for an agricultural implement
An agricultural implement includes a toolbar system having a toolbar frame, an elevator assembly, and a first wing on one side of the toolbar frame. The first wing may be coupled to the elevator and pivotable about a first vertical axis of rotation between an extended and a folded position. Tools may be coupled to the first wing and rotatable relative to a longitudinal axis of the first wing from an operating position below the first wing to a transport/shipping position above the first wing. Further, the first wing may be adapted to be moveable to position the first wing higher than a wheel of the agricultural implement on the same side of the toolbar frame in the folded position. Subsequently, the tools may be circularly rotated and the middle wing and tools pushed down to reduce the overall width and height of the implement for transporting or shipping.
Rear folding toolbar implement
Each wing of a rear folding implement has a wing frame supported on rear wheels for movement along the ground, and a forewing frame and wheel pivotally attached to the wing frame. A center ball joint pivotally connects right and left inner wings and a center wheel assembly supports the center ball joint. The wings extend laterally and the forewing frames are in a lowered position supported on their wheels when in the operating position. To move the wings into a transport position, the implement is towed forward and the wings pivot about the center ball joint to trail rearward and the forewing frames are moved upward to narrow the implement for transport. An air seeder cart hitch is rearward of and near the center ball joint in the operating position, and when the wings trail rearward the cart hitch is near rear ends of the trailing wings.
Weight transfer and residue spreading apparatus for an agricultural vehicle
An agricultural harvesting system including a chassis, a plurality of ground support devices carrying the chassis in a direction of travel, and a threshing section carried by the chassis. The threshing section produces residue that is sent to a spreader system. The spreader system has a first orientation and a second orientation. The spreader system includes a support device and a spreader. The support device is in ground contact and is positioned to a side of the chassis relative to the direction of travel when the spreader system is in the first orientation. The support device is positioned aft of the chassis relative to the direction of travel when the spreader system is in the second orientation. The spreader is carried by the support device and is configured to receive at least some of the residue.
Winged agricultural implement
In a winged agricultural implement having two wing frame sections pivotal relative to a center frame section between a laterally extending working position and a rearward trailing transport position, two brace members are pivotally supported on the center frame section to selectively retain and support the wing frame sections in the working position. A hydraulic actuator pivots each brace member between a latched position and a released position relative to the wing frame section. A biasing linkage is provided in series with each hydraulic actuator to provide positive pressure to retain the brace member in a latched position as the wing frame section pivotally floats relative to the center frame section during movement across an agricultural field in a forward working direction.
Spray boom structure with folding elements
A spray boom for an agricultural machine includes a first section having a first end and a second end and a second section having a first end pivotably coupled to the second end of the first section. The first section includes a first support member and a second support member disposed above the first support member. A centerline of the second support member is horizontally offset from a centerline of the first support member. Meanwhile, the second section includes a first support member. The spray boom may be configured in an extended position or a folded position. In the folded position, the second section is disposed above the first support member of the first section and adjacent the second support member.
AUTONOMOUS FOLDING FARM IMPLEMENT AND METHOD
There is provided an autonomous system for farm implements having a sensor system, an interface to send control signals to a power platform coupled to the farm implement, and a processing structure executing instructions. The instructions involve capturing initial sensor data from the sensor system; estimating a pose of the farm implement from the initial sensor data; generating a fold/unfold trajectory for the power platform in order to fold or unfold the farm implement; instructing the power platform using the interface to travel along the fold/unfold trajectory; receiving additional sensor data from the sensor system as the power platform travels along the fold/unfold trajectory; instructing the power platform using the interface to make adjustments to the fold/unfold trajectory based on the additional sensor data; and stopping the power platform once the farm implement reaches a folded position or an unfolded position.
ARRANGEMENT OF POSITIONING MECHANISMS OF SEED DRILLS FOR TRANSPORT
Arrangement for positioning mechanisms of seed drill machines for transport, preferably of the “auto trailer” type, including at least one toolholder bar, with their respective sowing units, divided into a central piece coupled to the structure of the chassis, and two side pieces, one at each side of the central piece, which pivot in a horizontal plane for being folded, with the corresponding sowing units, from the working position of the seed drill to the transport position parallel to the longitudinal axis of the chassis. The toolholder bar is mounted on a cart attached by guide plates to a lift tower and moves both up and down along said tower by triggering hydraulic cylinders. The lift tower is coupled to mobility device, with the toolholder bars and sowing units, from the working position to the transport position of the seed drill, and vice versa. The transport position is defined in a section of the drawbar next to the attachment end of a transportation tractor of the machine.
