The invention proposes a fan, in particular for a turbomachine of small size such as a jet engine, having a hub ratio which corresponds to the ratio of the diameter of the inner limit of the incoming air stream at the radially inner ends of the leading edges of the fan blades, divided by the diameter of the circle around which the outer ends of the fan blades pass, having a value of between 0.20 and 0.265.

Propulsor fan array
A propulsor fan array having reduced noise emission is disclosed. The propulsor fan array includes a plurality of propulsor fans that collectively generate thrust. Each of the propulsor fans include a blade fan having a plurality of blades. The plurality of blades are tensioned at tips of the plurality of blade fans such that a pitch of the blades during thrust generation is substantially the same as a pitch of the blades at rest. By tensioning the tips of the blades, an angle of the blades is maintained during operation of the propulsor fan thereby reducing noise that may result from changes in the angle of the blades.

A rotor and a turbo machine including the same are provided. The rotor includes a disk including a disk slot, a blade including a root member inserted into the disk slot and an airfoil disposed outside the root member in a radial direction of the disk, a locking sheet disposed inside the root member in the radial direction, and a fixing portion disposed inside the root member in the radial direction and configured to fix the locking sheet to the root member.
PROPULSOR FAN AND DRIVE SYSTEM
A propulsor fan and drive system having reduced noise emission is disclosed. The propulsor fan includes a blade fan having a plurality of blades. The blade fan is tensioned at the tips of the plurality of blades. By tensioning the tips of the blades, an angle of the blades is maintained during operation of the propulsor fan thereby reducing noise that may result from changes in the angle of the blades.

The invention relates to a positioning element for a guide vane arrangement of a guide vane stage of a gas turbine, with at least one base section curved in the peripheral direction; a plurality of uptake openings arranged next to each other in the peripheral direction on the base section, whose aperture axis runs substantially in the radial direction and which are designed to take up a respective radially inner guide vane section; a coupling section provided on the base section, which is or can be coupled to a seal carrier of a seal arrangement. According to the invention, it is proposed that at least one recess is provided in the base section, which is arranged between two neighboring uptake openings and runs from inside to outside at least in the radial direction.
Rotor assembly for a turbine section of a gas turbine engine
A rotor assembly for a gas turbine engine includes a shaft and first and second annular drum segments coupled to the shaft. Furthermore, the rotor assembly includes an annular flange positioned between the first and second annular drum segments along the axial centerline, with the annular flange coupled to the first and second annular outer drum segments. Additionally, the rotor assembly includes a blade having a shank section and an airfoil section. The shank section is, in turn, coupled to the annular flange such the airfoil section extends inward along the radial direction toward the axial centerline and into a hot gas path of the gas turbine engine.
