A seed planter comprises a frame including a main frame section and a furrowing disk frame section. A plurality of planter assemblies may be connected to the main frame section, and a plurality of furrowing disks may be connected to the furrowing disk frame section. At least one linkage may connect the main frame section and the furrowing disk frame section, and at least one motor may be configured to move the furrowing disk frame section with respect to the main frame section, wherein the at least one linkage permits the furrowing disk frame section to move to a low position for no-till planting and move to a high position for prepared seed beds or conventional planting.

Slurry applicator for an agricultural machine

A trough is cut in the ground surface by a rotating member. The rotating member displaces soil upward with respect to the ground surface and rearwardly with respect to a direction of travel of the rotating member. While the soil is in the air, slurry is deposited into the trough. The soil is then redirected downward to the trough to cover the slurry with the soil.

Pressure control system and method for an agricultural planter

A planter system includes a planter having an unloading valve and a controller. The unloading valve is fluidly coupled between an inlet and an outlet of a pump. The unloading valve is configured to receive a fluid at a supply pressure, to supply a first portion of the fluid from the inlet to a hydraulic planter system at an unloading pressure less than the supply pressure, and to recirculate a remainder of the fluid to the pump via the outlet. The controller is communicatively coupled to the unloading valve and to the pump. The controller is configured to control the pressure of the fluid supplied to the inlet and to control the unloading pressure of the first portion supplied to the hydraulic planter system.

A reseeding device (1) is configured for introducing grass seeds into an existing turf, comprising a rotatable shaft (2) which is provided with a number of blades (3) along its length which are at right angles to the shaft (2) and which are configured for cutting furrows into the turf and loosening and removing parts of the turf, a seed distributor (4) configured for spreading grass seeds at least in the furrows produced, in which the device (1) is configured, in use, to discharge the material loosened by the blades (3) over the shaft (2) and the seed distributor (4), along a direction (A) opposite to the direction of travel, so that the scattered grass seeds are at least partly covered by the loosened material. This reseeding device (1) prevents loosend material from forming an ipediment during reseeding.

Apparatuses, methods, and systems for providing down force for an agricultural implement

An agricultural planter includes systems, methods, and apparatus for providing down force pressure at row units of the planter. The row units may include an electric linear actuator connected to linkages of the row units to provide and maintain a down force pressure for the row unit. The linkage may also be removed and replaced with a strut or like mechanism to apply a direct down force pressure to components of the row unit. One or more sensors can be included to obtain information related to the ground to automatically adjust the amount of down force provided based upon a ground characteristic in order to maintain a substantially uniform furrow depth.

ROW PLANTER ASSEMBLY

A row planter assembly having offset track assemblies, a downforce control assembly, a furrow assembly, a seed metering assembly, and a seed delivery assembly.

ROW UNIT FOR A DOUBLE-SHOOT DRILL USING TWO STAGGERED DISCS

A double-shoot disc-opener row unit for use with agricultural implements includes two discs that form two separate trenches in a planting surface of a field. The mechanical connection between the two discs provides an adjustable longitudinal separation between the discs to prevent an overlap between the discs from a point view perpendicular to the direction of travel of the row unit. The longitudinal separation may reduce the interference of the flow of soil from one disc from interfering with the formations of trenches by the other disc. An adjustable lateral separation between the discs may also provide for a separation between the trenches produced by the different discs.

DOUBLE-SHOOT DISC DRILL USING TWO DISTINCT STAGGERED ROW UNITS

This application relates to disc drill agricultural implements configured to form product rows in a planting surface of a field. The disc drill may include two different sections of row units, the first section containing single-shoot row units and the second section containing double-shoot row units. The configuration may be used to produce three sets of product rows which may be used placement of seeds, fertilizer and/or other agricultural products.

Sowing machine with a distribution box having ejection point adjacent open furrow

A single-grain seeder including a chassis that supports at least one seeding element including a dispensing housing, at least one opening disk for opening a furrow in the ground, and at least one depth control wheel, the dispensing housing delivering seeds one by one via a rotary dosing element configured to turn about a rotation axis, each seed being ejected from the rotary dosing element at an ejection point extending in a lower portion of the rotary dosing element. The ejection point is disposed in an external diameter of the opening disk, when viewed along the rotation axis of the rotary dosing element.
