The heat recovery steam generator has a first medium-pressure coal economizer and a second medium-pressure coal economizer. When the combustible gas generated from the pulverized coal is burned, a serial heat exchange line is formed wherein cooling water passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer, the second medium-pressure coal economizer, and the gas cooler. When the auxiliary fuel is burned, separate heat exchange lines are formed, wherein the cooling water separately passes through the first medium-pressure coal economizer and the second medium-pressure coal economizer.

Pyrolysis and steam cracking system
A syngas generator provides a pyrolysis chamber and a steam cracking unit within a heater. A conveyor such as an auger directs input through the pyrolysis chamber where a pyrolysis reaction at about 600 C releases a gas/vapor mixture which is directed through a manifold and through an ejector into the cracking unit which operates at about 1200 C. Syngas from the cracking unit can be cooled, used for co-generation power systems, generate steam, and/or be burned (possibly combusted to generate electricity) with the heat used to heat the heater.

The object of the present invention is a plant and related method for the supply to the end-user, by making use of the heating power transferred by a heat source e.g. gas, oil products, coal or renewable type e.g. biomass, solar, geothermal, simultaneously with electric power and/or mechanical power, heating power and cooling power Heating-Cooling operating mode of the plant or simultaneously with electric power and/or mechanical power and heating power only Heating operating mode of the plant or simultaneously with electric power and/or mechanical power and cooling power only Cooling operating mode of the plant. The operation of the plant, according to each of the three operation modes, is obtained by the regulation of several on-off valves and a flow rate regulation valve.
INTEGRATED CARBON SEQUESTRATION AND POWER GENERATION SYSTEM AND METHODS OF USE
Systems and methods for providing an integrated carbon sequestration and power generation system are disclosed. The integrated carbon sequestration and power generation system may include: a thermodynamic cycle configured to receive biomass and to output heat and power; and a direct air capture system configured to receive at least some of the heat and the power output from the thermodynamic cycle. Other aspects are described and claimed.
AIR PURIFICATION APPARATUS FOR COAL-FIRED ELECTRIC POWER PLANT
The present invention relates to an air purification apparatus for a coal-fired electric power plant, and more specifically to an air purification apparatus for a coal-fired electric power plant, which, first, can filter out wastes of contaminated smoke by using limewater, which, second, can filter out fine dust and carbon dioxide included in the smoke, which, third, can convert waste gas including carbon monoxide in a state in which only smoke remains into carbon dioxide by reacting oxygen with the waste gas and purify the smoke into clean air by allowing a sodium hydroxide solution to absorb the carbon dioxide, and which, fourth, can eliminate humidity from the clean air by passing the clean air through a moisture condenser a plurality of times and discharge clean air in a pure smoke state from the power plant.
PULVERIZED-FUEL SUPPLY UNIT AND METHOD, AND INTEGRATED GASIFICATION COMBINED CYCLE
A pulverized-fuel supply unit includes a hopper, first nozzles, second nozzles, a pressurizing-gas supply device, a fluidization-gas supply device, and a pulverized-fuel supply line. The hopper has a hollow to store therein pulverized fuel. The first nozzles are provided to the hopper. The second nozzles are provided to a vertically lower part of the hopper below the plurality of first nozzles. The pressurizing-gas supply device is configured to supply pressurizing gas to increase internal pressure of the hopper. The fluidization-gas supply device is configured to supply fluidization gas to fluidize the pulverized fuel in the hopper. The pulverized-fuel supply line is provided to a vertically lower part of the hopper. The pressurizing-gas supply device supplies pressurizing gas to the first nozzles and the second nozzles. The fluidization-gas supply device supplies fluidization gas to the second nozzles.
