SPRING-LOADED GUIDE TO REDUCE VARIATION IN A VOLUMETRIC METER
A volumetric metering system for metering a product in an agricultural machine is presented. In one example, the volumetric metering system comprises a roller element, a drive mechanism configured to rotationally drive the roller element to convey the product along a conveyance path to a product receiving component, and a guide element disposed on a side of the roller element. The guide element is configured to guide the product along the conveyance path, and is biased towards the roller element.
Agricultural metering system having multiple meter rollers
An agricultural metering system includes independently controllable meter rollers, in which each meter roller is configured to rotate about a respective rotational axis. The agricultural metering system also includes meter boxes configured to receive agricultural product from a storage tank. Each meter roller is disposed within a respective meter box, and each meter roller is configured to meter the agricultural product from the storage tank. In addition, the agricultural metering system includes independently controllable motors. Each independently controllable motor is coupled to a respective meter roller, and each independently controllable motor is configured to drive the respective meter roller to rotate.
Planter with high speed seed delivery apparatus
An agricultural planting implement includes a number of row units. The row units include one or more seed meters for receiving, singulating, and dispensing seed to the ground such that preferred spacing of subsequent seed is attained. A seed meter provides seeds one at time to a seed carrier, such as a brush wheel. The brush wheel may move the seeds one at a time to a seed conveyor by directly moving seeds along a curved portion of a seed disc in the seed meter. The seed conveyor may be a flighted belt, and the velocity of the seeds when transferred from the seed carrier may match the velocity of the flighted belt. The seed conveyor conveys the seeds to a position near the bottom of a furrow, and ejects the seeds with little or no horizontal velocity relative to the bottom of the furrow.

Articulating air seeder cart with skew correction
A seeding apparatus includes an implement frame mounted on wheels and a plurality of furrow openers mounted on the implement frame. A primary air seeder cart is pivotally connected about a vertical implement pivot axis to an implement hitch on the implement frame, and an implement pivot limiting system is operative to limit a degree of pivoting of the primary air seeder cart about the implement pivot axis with respect to the implement frame to a selected degree chosen to reduce bending of conduits. A secondary air seeder cart can be pivotally connected to a cart hitch on the primary air seeder cart about a vertical cart pivot axis and an cart pivot limiting system is operative to limit the degree of pivoting of the secondary air seeder cart about the cart pivot axis.
