SEEDING MACHINE WITH SEED DELIVERY SYSTEM
A seed delivery system for use in a seeding or planting machine that removes the seed from a seed meter by capturing the seed therefrom. The delivery system then moves the seed down to a lower discharge point and accelerates the seed horizontally rearward to a speed approximately equal to the forward travel speed of the seeding machine such that the seed, when discharged has a low or zero horizontal velocity relative to the ground. Rolling of the seed in the trench is thus reduced. Furthermore, as the seed only has a short drop from the outlet to the bottom of the seed trench, the seed has little vertical speed to induce bounce. The delivery system uses a brush belt to capture, move and accelerate the seed. By capturing the seed and moving it from the meter to the discharge, the seed is held in place relative to other seeds and the planter row unit. As a result, the seeds are isolated from row unit dynamics thereby maintaining seed spacing.

Sowing coulter arrangement of an agricultural machine
A sowing coulter arrangement comprises a suspension device for mounting the sowing coulter arrangement on a machine frame; a coulter frame connected to the suspension device for mounting components of the sowing coulter arrangement thereon; and a coulter disk. The arrangement further comprises a furrow closer pivotally mounted on the coulter frame; a metering device for dispensing the material to be distributed; a seed tube for transporting the material to be distributed from the metering device to a seed furrow; and a catching element for catching the material disposed downstream of the outlet of the seed tube. The metering device, the seed tube, and the catching element form a unit and are mounted on a carrier that is pivotably affixed to the coulter frame, whereby an arrangement of an outlet of a seed tube in relation to a catching element is at all times kept largely constant.
MOTOR-DRIVEN SINGLE-SEED-EJECTION SOWING DEVICE AND A SOWING METHOD
A motor-driven single-seed-ejection sowing device includes a housing, a seed metering roller, a seed brush, a seed metering mechanism and a power mechanism. The housing includes a power compartment and a seed compartment. The surface of the seed metering roller is provided with seed grooves having spaces for accommodating a single seed. The seed metering mechanism includes a spring, a striking tube, a piston and the piston tube. The piston and the piston tube are arranged for axial movement inside the striking tube. The power mechanism includes a control unit and a drive unit. The control unit includes the motor, the drive panel, the Hall sensor and the magnet. The magnet is set on the striking tube. The Hall sensor and the drive panel are connected to the motor, and the motor drives the seed metering roller and seed metering mechanism by the drive unit.
Apparatus for precision volumetric metering and distribution of solid inputs used in agriculture
An apparatus to be coupled to sowing devices provides for precision in volumetric metering and distribution of solid agricultural inputs, said apparatus comprising a supporting, hollow housing with a through-hole through which an actuating through axle radially locked to a metering distribution centrifugal turbine extends, and drives the metering distribution centrifugal turbine; and an opening in the floor of the housing leading the agricultural input to an output nozzle. The metering distribution centrifugal turbine comprises cutouts of various shapes forming metering chambers for distributing the agricultural solid input uniformly. A labyrinth is formed by the supporting, hollow housing, the inner grater travel stop and the metering distribution centrifugal turbine. The metering distribution centrifugal turbine allows metering of the solid agricultural input only upon rotation of the metering distribution centrifugal turbine; when the metering distribution centrifugal turbine does not rotate the agricultural solid input is retained in and on the turbine.
FLOW TENT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT BIN
An implement for dispensing agricultural product. The implement comprises a bin for holding agricultural product, with the bin including a plurality of product openings for dispensing agricultural product from the bin. The implement additionally includes a plurality of metering devices secured to a bottom of the bin and configured to receive agricultural product from the bin through the product openings. The implement further includes a plurality of flow tents positioned within the bin. Each flow tent is positioned between a pair of the product openings. The flow tents extend upward from an interior side of the bottom of the bin so as to guide agricultural product towards the product openings.
METERING DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE METERING ASSEMBLY
A metering device for dispensing agricultural product from a bin. The metering device comprises a housing enclosing an interior space, and a metering assembly removably received within the interior space of the housing. The metering assembly is configured to convey agricultural product through the metering device. The metering assembly comprises a rotatable sub-shaft, a first metering wheel positioned on the sub-shaft and configured to rotate with the sub-shaft, a second metering wheel positioned on the sub-shaft and configured to rotate with the sub-shaft, and a dividing element positioned on the sub-shaft between the first metering wheel and the second metering wheel.
METERING DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE GATE ASSEMBLY
A metering device for dispensing agricultural product from a bin. The metering device comprises a housing enclosing an interior space, and a gate assembly removably received within the interior space of the housing. The gate assembly is configured to guide agricultural product through the housing. The gate assembly comprises a product gate comprising an arcuately-extending gate valve. The product gate at least partially defines a channel within the interior space of the housing through which agricultural product can flow. The gate assembly further comprises a gate key configured to selectively secure the product gate within the housing. Rotation of the gate key is configured to cause a corresponding rotation of the product gate.
METERING DEVICE FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT
A metering device for dispensing agricultural product from a bin. The metering device comprises an upper housing and a lower housing removably engaged with the upper housings. The metering device further includes at least one metering wheel positioned within an interior space presented by the upper housing or the lower housing.
