MECHANICALLY CONTROLLABLE VALVE DRIVE
A valve drive includes a transfer arrangement with an intermediate lever arrangement having a first roller element and an intermediate lever, and a drag lever arrangement having a drag lever. The first roller element is connected to a circumferential contour of a camshaft. The intermediate lever includes a second roller element and a working curve connected to the drag lever. A slotted guide is provided for the intermediate lever arrangement which is engaged by a guide roller element. A torsion spring element with first and second ends engages the intermediate lever arrangement. The first end rests on the cylinder housing portion. The second end acts on a counter bearing rigidly connected with the intermediate lever. The first and second roller element axes are arranged to introduce a force into the intermediate lever which presses the guide roller element against the slotted guide and the first roller element against the camshaft.
VARIABLE VALVE DRIVE HAVING A ROCKER LEVER
A variable valve drive for a lifting valve, such as a charge-exchange valve of an internal combustion engine, that is periodically movable between closed and open positions indirectly by way of a cam via a rocker lever. The variable valve drive includes a switchable rocker lever arrangement for the actuation of the lifting valve, having a transmission rocker lever and a valve rocker lever which are mounted pivotably on different rocker lever axles parallel to the camshaft axis. The valve rocker lever, is in operative contact with the lifting valve at a first end, and has a roller, at a second end. The transmission rocker lever, is in engagement with a cam of the camshaft and, is operatively connected to the roller of the valve rocker lever.
VALVE OPERATING APPARATUS FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A valve operating apparatus includes: a first intermediate arm and a first rocker arm that are interposed between a first cam unit and a first valve; a second intermediate arm and a second rocker arm that are interposed between a second cam unit and a second valve; and hydraulic lash adjusters that rockably support the rocker arms. The intermediate arms are rockably supported by a rocker shaft. In the axial direction of the rocker shaft, the distance between the first transmission part and a bearing nearest thereto is shorter than the distance between the first pressure receiving part and a bearing nearest thereto, and likewise, the distance between the second transmission part and a bearing nearest thereto is shorter than the distance between the second pressure receiving part and a bearing nearest thereto.
CONTINUOUS VARIABLE VALVE LIFT APPARATUS AND ENGINE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A continuously variable valve lift apparatus may include a camshaft, a cam portion on which a cam is formed and into which the camshaft is inserted, a slider housing into which the cam portion is rotatably inserted and of which a position is rotatable around a pivot shaft, a control portion engaged with the slider housing and configured to selectively rotate the slider housing around the pivot shaft, an output portion rotatable around the pivot shaft, contacting the cam and onto which a valve shoe is formed, and a valve device contacting the valve shoe and driven by rotation of the cam.
CONTINUOUS VARIABLE VALVE LIFT APPARATUS AND ENGINE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A continuously variable valve lift apparatus may include a camshaft, a cam portion on which a cam is formed and into which the camshaft is inserted, a slider housing into which the cam portion is rotatably inserted and disposed to be rotatable around a pivot shaft, a control portion configured to selectively rotate the slider housing around the pivot shaft, a rotation deliverer configured to transmit rotation of the camshaft to the cam portion, an output portion rotatable around the pivot shaft and on which a valve shoe is formed, and a valve device configured to be driven by the valve shoe.
CONTINUOUS VARIABLE VALVE LIFT APPARATUS AND ENGINE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A continuously variable valve lift apparatus may include a camshaft, a cam portion on which a cam is formed and into which the camshaft is inserted, a slider housing into which the cam portion is rotatably inserted and a position thereof is rotatable around a pivot shaft, a control portion configured to selectively push the slider housing to be rotated, a spring guide connected to the slider housing for elastically supporting the slider housing, a rotation deliverer configured to transmit rotation of the camshaft to the cam portion, an output portion rotatable around the pivot shaft and onto which a valve shoe is formed, and a valve unit configured to be driven by the valve shoe.
