An adaptable fluid heating system includes a reservoir and an inline heating loop. The reservoir holds a fluid such as lubricant oil. The adaptable fluid heating system includes an inline heating loop, the inline heating loop fluidly coupled to the reservoir. The inline heating loop includes a circulation pump and an inline heater. The circulation pump circulates fluid from the reservoir through the inline heater and back into the reservoir.

Drive system and associated motor vehicle

This drive system for a motor vehicle includes a top end and a bottom end that are coupled together, a kinematic drive chain, a compressor, a main lubrication system, that includes a main circuit and a main pump, which supplies at least the bottom end with a main lubricant via the main circuit, and a secondary lubrication system, that includes at least one secondary circuit separated from the main circuit and at least one secondary pump separate from the main pump, the secondary pump supplying the top end and/or the compressor with a secondary lubricant via the secondary circuit. The secondary lubrication system includes at least one secondary actuator mechanically separate from the kinematic drive chain and that drives the secondary pump to supply the top end and/or the compressor with the secondary lubricant.

ELECTRIC OIL PUMP SYSTEM

An electric oil pump system is provided to allow the cooling of an electric oil pump (EOP) and an oil pump controller (OPU) to be performed efficiently in the vehicle equipped with the electric oil pump. The system includes an electric oil pump in which a pumping part is operated by power of a motor to suction and direct pressurized oil. and an oil pump controller operates the electric oil pump. A water-cooled cooling apparatus cools the oil pump controller using coolant and an oil-cooled cooling apparatus cools the electric oil pump using oil. The coolant of the water-cooled cooling apparatus and the oil of the oil-cooled cooling apparatus pass through a heat exchanger and as the coolant and oil pass therethrough, heat exchange is achieved.

LUBRICANT DELIVERY SYSTEM AND METHOD
20240117760 · 2024-04-11 ·

A lubricant delivery system and method includes a valve manifold, an electronic controller, and a pressure sensor for determining whether there is adequate lubricant flow in the system. The valve manifold receives lubricant from a pressurized source. The valve manifold includes a plurality of valves configured to control the flow of lubricant to respective applicators. The electronic controller controls the opening and closing of the valves. The pressure sensor measures lubricant pressure in the valve manifold, and outputs a signal to the electronic controller. The signal correlates to a lubricant pressure value in the valve manifold. The electronic controller uses the lubricant pressure values to derive an indication of lubricant flow (via the valves) to the applicators.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRIC OIL PUMP

The present disclosure provides a method for controlling the electric oil pump for a vehicle having an idle stop and go system. The system includes a control device for controlling the operation of the electric oil pump when the vehicle is stopped and restarted again. In the system, the operation of the electric oil pump is performed by an actual RPM control applying a target RPM of the electric oil pump and a torque or a current value of the electric oil pump.

Automotive electric liquid pump

An automotive electric liquid pump includes a separation can having a radial inside which includes a static bearing ring, a pump rotor, and a motor rotor which rotates in the separation can. The motor rotor includes a radial outside having a cylindrical rotor bearing ring. The static bearing ring of the separation can corresponds to the cylindrical rotor bearing ring of the motor rotor. A first radial slide bearing is defined by the cylindrical rotor bearing ring and the static bearing ring.

In an electric oil pump device including a drive power source and a gear device through which a vehicle drive force of the drive power source is transmitted, the electric oil pump device delivering a lubricant oil to the gear device, and generating a hydraulic pressure for controlling the gear device, a pump portion for delivering the lubricant oil, a motor portion for operating the pump portion, and a driver portion for controlling an operation of the motor portion are included. The pump portion, motor portion and driver portion are formed integrally with each other, or the driver portion is disposed adjacent to the motor portion. The pump portion and a part or an entirety of the motor portion are disposed within a space defined by an oil pan and a casing accommodating the gear device, and the driver portion is disposed outside the casing and the oil pan.

ELECTRIC OIL PUMP SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITH HEAT EXCHANGER

An electric oil pump system integrated with a heat exchanger capable of reducing installation space and cost may include: an the electric oil pump including a motor and a pumping part operated by power of the motor to suck and send oil under pressurizing to an oil-used part; and a heat exchanger to exchange heat between the pressurized oil sent by the electric oil pump and coolant cooled at a radiator while the coolant and the pressurized oil pass through the heat exchanger. In particular, the heat exchanger is directly coupled to the electric oil pump and the oil-used part, respectively, and integrated with each other.
