OIL COOLER
An oil cooler may include at least two heat exchanger plates stacked in a stacking direction, and a cover plate. A fluid channel may extend between the cover plate and the adjacent heat exchanger plate. A thermostatic valve may be connected to the fluid channel in a fluid-transmitting manner via a thermostatic valve housing of the thermostatic valve. The cover plate may include at least two connecting pieces or an adapter plate may be arranged between the cover plate and the thermostatic valve housing and may include at least two connecting pieces. The thermostatic valve housing may include at least two connecting pieces configured complementary to the at least two connecting pieces of the cover plate or the adapter plate, and secured therein. The at least two pieces of the thermostatic valve housing may be soldered in the at least two connecting pieces of the cover plate or the adapter plate.
Engine and motorcycle
There is provided an engine. An exhaust manifold is attached to an exhaust port of a cylinder head. A supercharger has a turbine housing accommodating therein a turbine configured to rotate by an exhaust air from the exhaust port. A balancer is disposed at a front side in a crank case. A radiator is disposed in front of the engine. The exhaust manifold and the turbine housing are integrally formed. The supercharger is disposed above the balancer. The radiator is disposed above the supercharger.
Lubrication system for vehicle engine
An oil filter and an oil cooler of a motorcycle combustion engine are disposed on an outer surface of an engine body side by side in a right-left direction. A first engine lubrication passage extending in the right-left direction is connected to an outflow passage for the oil cooler. A second engine lubrication passage is connected to the first engine lubrication passage, to extend frontward, and is disposed parallel to an inflow passage and an outflow passage for the oil filter. A third engine lubrication passage is connected to the second engine lubrication passage and extends upward from the second engine lubrication passage in front of the first engine lubrication passage.
Method of modifying engine oil cooling system
A method of modifying the oil cooling system of a diesel engine includes the steps of removing the original equipment liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger and installing a manifold having a configuration adapted to match the mounting configuration of the oil passages of the original equipment liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger. The manifold has an oil outlet port directed to a remotely mounted oil cooler. The manifold also has a water passage having a configuration that is adapted to match the mounting configuration of the water passages of the original equipment liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger. The water passage causes the entirety of the flow of water to be discharged back to the water cooling system of the engine where it is circulated by the water pump through the water cooling passages in the engine.
OIL FILTER HOUSING SYSTEM, OIL FILTRATION SYSTEM, AND ENGINE SYSTEM
An oil filter housing system comprising a housing body. The housing body defines an integral coolant supply passage in fluid supplying communication with a coolant pump. The housing body further defines an integral coolant volute in fluid receiving communication with the coolant pump. The housing body defines an oil cooler cavity configured to house an oil cooler, a first integral oil flow passage in fluid supplying communication with the oil cooler, and a second integral oil flow passage in fluid receiving communication with the oil cooler. A third integral oil flow passage is in fluid supplying communication with a turbocharger. An angled oil filter interface is coupled to the housing body and is configured to receive an oil filter, the oil filter in fluid supplying communication with the third integral oil flow passage.
Method of modifying engine oil cooling system
A method of modifying the oil cooling system of a diesel engine an engine oil supply outlet located in a horizontal plan includes the steps of removing the original equipment liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger and installing a manifold having an oil outlet port directed to a remote oil cooler and a bypass water passage providing an un-branched flow of water, whereby the flow of oil is directed to a remote oil cooler and the entirety of the flow of water in the bypass water passage is discharged back to the water cooling system of the engine without passing through an oil cooling or water cooling heat exchanger.

Assembly for a V-engine
A cylinder block assembly for a V-engine is provided. In one example, the cylinder block assembly includes a cylinder block including a plurality of cylinders divided into a first cylinder bank and a second cylinder bank, a valley positioned between the first and second cylinder banks, and a plurality of crankshaft supports. The cylinder block assembly further includes a structural frame including an interior surface coupled to the plurality of crankshaft supports and two top surfaces arranged above the interior surface and on opposing sides of the assembly, where each top surface is coupled to the cylinder block above a top of the plurality of crankshaft supports.
OIL, COOLANT, AND EXAUST GAS CIRCULATION SYSTEM, ELEMENTS AND KITS
A system for circulating oil coolant and exhaust gas in an engine including an oil transfer tube, an oil filter cap, and an EGR delete. The oil cap and the oil transfer tube act in conjunction to redirect the oil flow. The EGR delete enables a system to bypass the EGR system in a simple convenient way. The high pressure filter screen is able to filter in high pressure environments. The pump can be used to direct coolant to the coolant manifold. These elements can be provided in a kit that is designed for certain makes of vehicles. A means to manufacture a bypass manifold is also provided.
Method and process for manufacturing a unitary oil filter adaptor
A casted unitary metallic oil filter adaptor that has an entirely internal lubricant flow path and threads for connecting associated components directly to the casted adaptor.
