Polymer mixing technique
A cross-linked, water absorbent polymer is mixed with desirable additives and coated to prevent water absorption to create a blend that is added to water injection systems for turf and soil maintenance. The coating is rinsed off the water absorbent polymer resulting in expansion of the polymer into a gel-like substance. The water absorbent polymer has the ability to retain water and nutrients in the soil preventing nutrient runoff and reducing watering frequency. Injection of the water absorbent polymer directly into soil reduces waste and reduces hazard caused by slippery material left on soil surfaces. The method and system for mixing and injection into soil is disclosed.
MOBILE TURF SPRAYER
A mobile turf sprayer operates to spray a product onto a turf site. In some embodiments the mobile turf sprayer identifies a plurality of regions of the turf site to be sprayed and automatically sprays product onto those regions as the mobile turf sprayer moves about the turf site.
MEASUREMENT APPARATUS, MEASUREMENT METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
The present invention provides a measurement apparatus 1 including: a detection unit 2 configured to detect a pressure according to a shape change of a tubular structure whose shape changes according to a supplied amount of a liquid that flows therein; a time specification unit 3 configured to specify, based on the pressure detected by the detection unit 2, a supply time during which the liquid was supplied; and a supplied amount calculation unit 4 configured to calculate a supplied amount of the liquid based on the supply time.
Activated-release fertilizer, pesticides, and other granules, germination-activated seeds, and methods of making and using same
An activated-release, water-insoluble or slowly-soluble coating is utilized on fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, medicine, and other granules to precisely time the release of the active ingredient of the granules, for purposes such as fertilizer and pesticide release as well as to initiate seed germination. An external stimulus, or activating agent, including, but not limited to, microwaves, ultrasonic waves, X-rays, radio waves, electromagnetic waves, radar waves, sonar waves, magnetic induction, (or pulses of any of the foregoing), specific chemical, bacteria, or fungus organism (such as ionic or non ionic surfactants, organic solvents, specifically cultured bacteria, fungi or catalytic agents) is used to break the coating, thus allowing for the release or germination. An activating device may be mounted on or in a tool bar, cart, or other apparatus pulled by a tractor, all-terrain vehicle (ATV), airplane, helicopter, or other implement and passed over a field, sprayed onto or injected into the soil, when the granule content is actually needed or germination is sought. The present disclosure also relates to liquid fertilizers of complex chemistry that are not readily available to plants; activation will degrade the nutrient compounds to readily-available forms.

FLOW DIVERTER FOR A FERTILIZATION SYSTEM
A fertilization system may include a flow diverter to divert a portion of water from a ground irrigation system through a tank containing fertilizer and back into the ground irrigation system by creating a high pressure region up stream of the flow diverter and a low pressure region down stream of the flow diverter to provide hydraulic operation of the fertilization system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HANDLING FLUID FOR APPLICATION TO AGRICULTURAL FIELDS
A fluid dispensing apparatus includes a container defining an interior space for holding a fluid. The container is configured to separate the fluid into a liquid and a vapor such that at least a portion of the vapor is disposed above the liquid. The container includes a sidewall and a top wall connected to the sidewall. A fluid inlet and a fluid outlet are disposed in the sidewall. A plurality of vapor valves are releasably connected to the top wall. The top wall includes a plurality of recesses and a plurality of passageways connecting the plurality of recesses to at least one outlet in the top wall. Each of the plurality of vapor valves is disposed within one of the plurality of recesses, and the plurality of vapor valves is configured to regulate the flow of fluid through the plurality of passageways and exhaust vapor disposed above the liquid.
Operation set for a mobile tool-bearing head for agricultural operation machinery
An operation set is provided for a mobile tool-bearing for agricultural operation machines, which allows for the application of phytosanitary products or the survey of information from a crop surface formed by the traveling of a self-impelled irrigation machine. The set includes a plurality of modules installed consecutively one after the other thus covering the whole length of the self-impelled irrigation machine, each one having a scanning tool that may be a nozzle and/or a sensor that applies the programmed dose as it is displaced along the section, and these modules being linked to each other by a motor cable covering all the length of an irrigation machine or the greenhouse, and which travels in both directions in an alternate manner, since the movement is achieved as the motor cable is linked to a synchronic belt on at least one point.
FERTILIZER COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR SUSPENDING FERTILIZER IN AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION
A system and method for providing fertilizer for crop production in an aqueous solution comprising nano-sized fertilizer particles, which are free of any chemical side chain and free any micelle to protect the nano-sized particle from re-agglomeration, suspended therein for improved uptake by the population of the crop.
Spreading device for spreading vehicles
A spreading device is disclosed for spreading vehicles for discharging spreading agents. The spreading device includes at least one tank for receiving liquid spreading agents to be spread and at least one rotationally-driven discharge device, connected via a provided supply unit to the tank. The discharge device has at least one base body and one cover securely connected to the base body, wherein the base body defines a receiving chamber (AR) for the supplied liquid spreading agent and is in the shape of a cylinder. The base body has at least one bottom section, forming an underside (U) of the discharge device, with an inlet opening and at least one wall section projecting from the bottom section and concentrically surrounding an axis of rotation (RA).
