A cover for a DEF assembly with openings dimensioned to receive various components that are positioned in the DEF holding tank and associated seals for closing the openings and retaining the components is disclosed. The seals are fixed to the cover by a sonic weld.
Flange assembly and related methods of connecting two exhaust pipes together with a flange assembly
A flange assembly and related methods of connecting two exhaust pipes together with a flange assembly are provided. The flange assembly includes a first flange having a first mating face and a second flange connected to the first flange, wherein the second flange has a second mating face. A sealing structure is formed with the mating faces of the first and second flanges, wherein the sealing structure comprises a groove positioned on the first mating face and a ridge positioned in the second mating face, wherein the ridge occupies at least a portion of the groove with the first flange connected to the second flange.
System for injecting fuel into exhaust pipe
A system for injecting fuel into an exhaust pipe and preventing fuel leakage. An exhaust pipe is connected to an engine via an exhaust adaptor and the fuel is injected directly into the exhaust pipe through a fuel injection valve provided in the exhaust adaptor. A lower end of the exhaust adaptor is provided with a lower flange part to which a front end flange part of the exhaust pipe is connected, and a tubular shielding part for preventing the fuel from falling onto flange surfaces and of the front end flange part and the lower flange part protrudes into the exhaust pipe.
SEALING DEVICE FOR EXHAUST MANIFOLD
A sealing device for an exhaust manifold includes a main pipe having a connection portion including a mounting groove formed at an interior circumferential surface; a sub pipe having a protruding portion at one end portion, the sub pipe being coupled to the main pipe in a state in which the protruding portion is inserted into the connection portion; a valve mounted at the mounting groove within the connection portion; and a gasket interposed between the protruding portion and the valve within the connection portion.
Sealing gasket, for sealing the connection between an exhaust manifold and a turbine
The invention relates to a sealing gasket, for sealing a connection between an exhaust manifold and a turbine of a vehicle, the sealing gasket comprising two flow passage openings separated by a dividing wall and a first sealing portion extending around the two openings. The sealing gasket includes at least a second sealing portion extending around one of the two openings, and preferably a third sealing portion extending around the other of the two openings.
