ROW UNIT ASSEMBLY WITH CLAMP MOUNT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
A row unit assembly may generally include a clamp mount configured to be coupled to a frame member of an agricultural implement. The clamp mount may include a first clamp member and a second clamp member pivotally coupled to the first clamp member. The first clamp member may include a first clamp wall spaced apart from a second clamp wall of the second clamp member such that the frame member is clamped between the first and second clamp walls. In addition, the second clamp member may include a flange extending outwardly relative to the second clamp wall such that the flange overlaps the frame member along at least a portion of a top side of the frame member. Moreover, the row unit assembly may include an agricultural row unit including at least one support arm pivotally coupled to the clamp mount.
Tubeless fertilizer knife
An improved fertilizer knife presents a leading edge, a first flexible fertilizer tube receiving portion and a second fertilizer tube receiving portion. The first and second flexible tube receiving portions are precision cast to frictionally receive the distal end of a flexible polymer fertilizer tube. The first and second flexible tube receiving portions are adapted so that the second flexible tube receiving portion can be mounted to the first flexible tube receiving portion. Both flexible tube receiving portions also each have at least one opening at their lower ends for allowing fertilizer to escape from a flexible fertilizer tube.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR SOIL AND SEED MONITORING
Systems, methods and apparatus for monitoring soil properties and applying fertilizer during a planting operation. Various sensors are disposed in ground engaging components for monitoring soil properties. The ground engaging components may have structure for opening a side trench in the sidewalls of the seed trench and may include liquid application conduits for injecting liquid into the sidewalls of the resulting side trenches.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR AGRICULTURAL LIQUID APPLICATION
Systems, methods and apparatus for monitoring soil properties and applying fertilizer during a planting operation. Various sensors are disposed in ground engaging components for monitoring soil properties. Liquid delivery systems are provided for injecting liquid into the soil adjacent to the seed planting trench formed by the planter row unit trench opening assembly.
Apparatus for applying a pesticide to perennial crops
An applicator assembly for applying an active substance to the root zone of a plurality of plants, the applicator assembly comprising: a subsoil applicator having a cutting element for generating an incision in the ground, an injector associated with the cutting element to allow the active substance to be injected into the incision; and a positioning device adapted to allow the position of the cutting element to change position such that an incision is generated in some material in the root zone while the cutting element moves over other material in the root zone.
Agricultural dry chemical tube and delivery system
A dry chemical delivery tube and its surrounding nutrient applicator system are located in a narrow space in a soil working implement in an agricultural setting. Between an inlet end and an outlet end, the chemical delivery tube transitions from a circular cross section to an oval cross section. In one embodiment, the soil working implement includes soil opening/closing disks and liquid or gaseous delivery tubes that closely surround the chemical delivery tube.
System for variable-ratio blending of multiple agricultural products for delivery via a ported opener
A system to meter multiple agricultural products according to an independently prescribed rate for each in a variable-ratio blend of the agricultural products from a single opener in a plurality of such systems and openers across an applicator such as a drill. Bulk storage compartments associated with the applicator deliver multiple agricultural products to metering assemblies mounted in clusters or pods across the applicator. The agricultural products are fed from the metering assemblies, via a flow re-director, into a manifold, and then into a corresponding single opener having conduits to transport the agricultural product into the soil. Controllers independently regulate metering by the metering assemblies. The flow re-director and manifold provide blending of combinations of the agricultural products for each opener according to a field prescription.
CUTTING HEADS AND AGRICULTURAL SEEDER IMPLEMENTS FORMED THEREWITH
A soil cutting head for a mount of an agricultural implement includes a head having a leading extremity for cutting into soil ahead of the mount, and a fertilizer tube extending through the head to a discharge end for discharging a stream of fertilizer into the soil from the head.
Seed boot and liner assembly
A seed boot assembly for a seeding machine includes a seed boot, a boot liner and a seed tube adapter. The seed boot has a seed passage extending from an inlet to an outlet. The boot liner extends within the seed passage between the inlet and the outlet. A seed tube adapter is coupled to the seed boot and/or the boot liner.
Implements and Application Units to Actuate at Least One Applicator Arm for Placement of Applications with Respect to Agricultural Plants of Agricultural Fields
Described herein are implements and applicators for placement of fluid applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a fluid applicator for applying fluid to plants in rows in a field includes at least one applicator arm that is actuated by an actuator to move the applicator arm from a position in the row between plants to a position adjacent to the plant.
