Cooling fan module

A cooler fan module, having: a fan frame, a fan wheel recess formed in the fan frame, wherein the fan wheel recess is bounded by a frame ring, a motor mount, which is arranged within the fan wheel recess and is mechanically connected to the fan frame by means of struts, a motor, more particularly an electric motor, which is held at least partially in the motor mount, and a fan wheel, which is arranged in the fan wheel recess and is rotationally driven by the motor, wherein the cooler fan module further has a separately formed, annular structure element, which is arranged on the frame ring.

COOLING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

A cooling apparatus (10) for a vehicle includes air-cooling first and second heat exchangers (12, 14) that are placed beside each other. A coolant flow-out portion (32) of the first heat exchanger (12) from which a first coolant which is a cooling target of the first heat exchanger (12) flows out and a coolant flow-out portion (36) of the second heat exchanger (14) from which a second coolant which is a cooling target of the second heat exchanger (14) flows out are placed at ends at opposite positions separated along a diagonal line on a parallel placement surface of the two heat exchangers (12, 14). A first cooling fan (20) is placed opposing the coolant flow-out portion (32) of the first heat exchanger (12), and a second cooling fan (22) is placed opposing the coolant flow-out portion (36) of the second heat exchanger (14). With this configuration, cooling performance of two air-cooling heat exchangers placed beside each other can be improved.

FAN ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A fan assembly including a first cooling fan arranged with respect to an air flow direction downstream of a heat exchanger and a second cooling fan. The first cooling fan is a radial fan that draws cooling air axially and expels the cooling air radially and the second cooling fan is an axial fan that draws cooling air axially and expels the cooling air axially. The axial fan is arranged downstream of the heat exchanger and laterally adjacent to the radial fan in a plane parallel to the rear side of the heat exchanger in a plane parallel to the front side of the heat exchanger.

High voltage cooling fan motor unit

The present disclosure relates to a high voltage cooling fan motor unit. For this purpose, the present disclosure includes a motor 100 located inside a high voltage cooling fan motor housing 102; an inverter PCB 200 located on the upper portion of the motor 100; a cover plate 300 for covering the upper surface of the motor housing 102, assembled in the state of facing the inverter PCB 200, and having a groove part 310 formed on the outside upper surface thereof; a cooling fin 400 provided on the outside of the cover plate 300 in the state of facing the groove part 310; and a power conversion unit 500 mounted on the lower surface of a heat sink 50 in the state of facing the inverter PCB 200 via the heat sink 50 mounted on the inside lower surface of the cover plate 300.

COOLING MODULE FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR VEHICLE, COMPRISING A TANGENTIAL-FLOW TURBOMACHINE

The invention relates to a cooling module for a motor vehicle, including at least one heat exchanger, at least one tangential turbomachine, a housing having a first suction opening and an exhaust opening between which flows a first air stream passing through the at least one heat exchanger and at least one electric motor for controlling the rotation of the at least one tangential-flow turbomachine, the electric motor being arranged on the outer wall of the housing, the electric motor including at least one air inlet and one air outlet. The housing includes a second suction opening, the air outlet of the motor being in fluid connection with the second suction opening so as to allow a second air stream to flow.

Turbo-compounding system

A turbo-compounding system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: a turbocharger including a turbine which is rotated by using pressure of exhaust gas discharged from the engine and a compressor which is rotated by using rotation power of the turbine and compresses new external air and supplies the compressed air to the engine; a motor-generator configured to be rotated by using rotation power of the compressor of the turbocharger to generate power or add rotation power to the compressor of the turbocharger; and a control device configured to operate the motor-generator as a motor or a generator according to a current rotation speed of the engine and may collect power wasted from the engine.

A plural-fans driving apparatus is provided to drive a first fan and a second fan, and the first fan and the second fan are three-phase fans. The plural-fans driving apparatus includes a controller, a first three-phase motor driver structure, a second three-phase motor driver structure, and a protection and input interface circuit. The protection and input interface circuit is coupled to the first three-phase motor driver structure and the second three-phase motor driver structure, and protects the first three-phase motor driver structure and the second three-phase motor driver structure. The controller controls the first three-phase motor driver structure to drive the first fan, and controls the second three-phase motor driver structure to drive the second fan.

The control device executes a regeneration process under a condition that the particulate matter accumulated amount exceeds a specified amount. The regeneration process is a process for regenerating the filter when the particulate matter collected on the filter is combusted. The control device executes a fan drive process for driving the cooling fan. When the regeneration process is being executed, the control device executes the fan drive process regardless of a coolant temperature under a condition that a vehicle speed is smaller than a specified speed.

The power system includes an enclosure; an air inlet location, a first air outlet location, a second air outlet location, a fan assembly, and one or more relocatable covers to obstruct the first and second air outlet locations. The air inlet location may be at a first location on an exterior of the enclosure to permit intake of air from the exterior of the enclosure to an interior of the enclosure. The first air outlet location may be at a second location on the exterior of the enclosure to expel air taken in through the air inlet location, while the second air outlet location at a third location on the exterior of the enclosure to expel air taken in through the air inlet location.
