DAMP SAND HOPPER SYSTEM
A towable or self-propelled device and method for treating and maintaining turf are disclosed. These include at least one roller and manifold assembly, said at least one roller and manifold assembly including a plurality of injection heads for directing periodic high pressure jets of liquid and at least one additive material into the ground, said jets of liquid having a discrete pulse duration, wherein the depth of penetration of the jets into the soil is a function of the pulse duration, wherein said plurality of injection head creates a discharge pattern greater than 30 inches in width and at least 1 inch in depth; a liquid supply system for supplying pressurized liquid to said at least one injection head; an additive supply system for introducing said at least one additive material to said liquid within said at least one injection head, the additive supply system including a hopper that receives the additive material after passing through a plurality of sifters; and a control system for controlling discharge from said at least one injection head.
System and method for dispensing multiple low rate agricultural products
A system for dispensing multiple low rate agricultural products that includes a multiple low rate agricultural (MLRA) product application device configured to cooperate with a planting equipment monitor assembly positioned to sense a seed being discharged from high speed planting equipment. Each MLRA product application device comprises a common housing for a number of low rate agricultural product input assemblies.
Aerator device
The aerator device includes a manifold including an interior channel, a connector aperture, and a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge a pressurized fluid stream. A cover plate is disposed on an upper side of the manifold. A first connector includes a first open end in fluid communication with the interior channel and a second end extending through a connector aperture disposed on an upper side of the cover plate. A second connector is configured to receive a hose connection to a pressurized fluid supply. A wheel including a wheel height adjustment mechanism is affixed to each side portion of the cover plate. In one embodiment, the manifold is configured to rotate when the wheels of the device rotate via a drive roller. A handle extending rearwardly from the cover plate includes a trigger mechanism configured to activate the flow of fluid from a pressurized fluid source.
SEED FURROW LIQUID APPLICATION SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES
In one aspect, an agricultural row unit is provided an includes a frame, an opener disc rotatably coupled to the frame and configured to open a seed trench, and an applicator assembly coupled to the frame and configured to apply a liquid. The applicator assembly including a housing and a valve coupled to the housing and configured to be in fluid communication with a fluid source. The valve is electronically powered to move to an open condition, in which fluid is configured to pass through and emit from the valve, and electronically powered to move to a closed condition, in which fluid is inhibited from passing through and emitting from the valve. The agricultural row unit also includes a closing wheel coupled to the frame and configured to close the seed trench.
Fluid Jet Agricultural Devices, Systems and Methods
An ultra high-pressure liquid jet soil processing system of an agricultural implement is provided. The ultra high-pressure liquid jet soil processing system includes a frame, an ultra high-pressure liquid pump disposed on the frame, a set of ultra high-pressure lines fluidly connected to the ultra high-pressure liquid pump, and at least a first liquid jet soil implementation head and a second liquid jet soil implementation head fluidly connected to the ultra high-pressure liquid pump via the set of ultra high-pressure lines. The first and second implementation heads are configured to condition soil for seed deposition by generating a plurality of trenches.
SEED FURROW LIQUID APPLICATION SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES
In one aspect, a crop input applicator is provided. In one aspect, the applicator comprises a valve (e.g., voice coil valve) disposed to deposit liquid on or near a seed furrow and/or on or near a seed. In one aspect, the applicator includes one or more seed sensors disposed to detect passage of seeds.
Tillage system with variable fertilizer application
An agricultural implement including a frame, a plurality of ground engaging tools connected to the frame, a fertilizer device configured for applying at least one liquid fertilizer and including a plurality of fluid lines and a plurality of fertilizer applicator assemblies fluidly connected to the plurality of fluid lines. Each fertilizer applicator assembly includes an applicator connected to the frame and a valve fluidly connected to the applicator. The valve is configured for varying a rate of the at least one liquid fertilizer through the applicator. The agricultural implement also includes an electronic control unit operably connected to the valves of the plurality of fertilizer applicator assemblies and configured for automatically adjusting the valve of at least one fertilizer applicator assembly of the plurality of fertilizer applicator assemblies to vary the rate of the at least one liquid fertilizer, dependent upon a fertilizer requirement characteristic.
System and method for dispensing multiple low rate agricultural products
