A pressure variation in a fuel tank can be prevented, and leakage of liquid fuel can be prevented even if the fuel tank is inclined in a predetermined direction, without operation for opening and closing a breather passage. An engine generator includes: a first breather passage having an opening at a position above a liquid fuel in a tank bulge section when the engine generator is inclined to the right (corresponding to a first direction); and a second breather passage having an opening at a position above the liquid fuel in the tank bulge section when the engine generator is inclined in the left direction (a second direction).
Method and system for mounting a supplemental alternator to a vehicle
A mounting system for mounting a supplemental alternator, as well as methods of assembling the same, is provided. The mounting system includes a top mounting bracket that is configured to align with a top flange aperture of the additional alternator. The mounting system also includes a bottom mounting bracket having a bracket aperture that aligns with an aperture of an existing alternator mount and also having a flange aperture that aligns with the foot flange aperture of the additional alternator. The mounting system further includes a shaft that couples to the additional alternator.
CONTAINERISED GENERATOR SET WITH EXTERNAL EXHAUST AIR DUCT
A containerised generator set comprises a generator arranged within a container having a first aperture through which cooling air is exhausted in use. A pair of first doors are arranged to pivot outwardly on either side of the first aperture, with a removable wall being removably mounted between the first doors and spaced apart from the body of the container by the first doors from its lower end region to its upper end region in its mounted position. The removable wall and the first doors define an exhaust air duct which preferably includes a sound absorbent material. The exhaust air duct extends for at least most of a total height of the body of the container to attenuate noise from the generator. Exhausted cooling air flows upwardly from the open upper end of the exhaust air duct and away from the immediate operating environment.

LOW NOISE ENCLOSURE
Systems and apparatuses include an apparatus including an intake defined by an intake aperture, an intake baffle, and an intake floor structured to couple to an intake portion of an enclosure roof, the intake extending along at least eighty percent (80%) of a width of the apparatus on a first side, an exhaust defined by an exhaust aperture, an exhaust baffle, and an exhaust floor structured to couple to an exhaust portion of the enclosure roof, the exhaust extending along at least eighty percent (80%) of the width of the apparatus on a second side opposite the first side, a partition panel isolating the intake from the exhaust, and an engagement mechanism structured to couple the apparatus to a generator set.
MODULAR GENSET ENCLOSURE COMPONENTS
A genset module coupling assembly includes a cross-bar of a module chassis oriented orthogonal to an engine neutral axis of vibration defined by an engine mounted on an engine chassis, a first bracket coupled to the cross-bar on a first side of the engine neutral axis of vibration, and a second bracket coupled to the cross-bar on a second side of the engine neutral axis of vibration. The first bracket and the second bracket are positioned to minimize communication of vibrations from the engine chassis to the module chassis.
GUIDING MECHANISMS FOR MODULAR GENERATOR SET SYSTEM
In general, techniques of this disclosure are directed to a modular generator set system. A generator set system may comprise a primary module, which may include an engine, a generator coupled to the engine, a primary frame configured to support the engine and the generator, and a first guiding element. The generator set system may also include a secondary module, a secondary frame, and a second guiding element that is reciprocal to the first guiding element such that, during installation of the secondary module, the second guiding element is configured to interface with the first guiding element to align the secondary module for purposes of automatically electrically or fluidically coupling the primary module to the secondary module upon assembling the primary frame and the secondary frame.
AUTOMATIC COUPLINGS FOR MODULAR GENERATOR SET SYSTEM
In general, a generator set system may include a primary module including: an engine; a generator coupled to the engine and configured to convert mechanical energy of the engine to electrical energy; a primary frame configured to support the engine and the generator; and a first coupling. The generator set system also may include a secondary module including a secondary module including: at least one of a heat recovery module, an exhaust module, a cooling system module, a fuel system module, a solar power module, a battery module, an electrical system module, an air intake module, or an air outlet module; a secondary frame; and a second coupling. The first coupling and the second coupling are configured to automatically electrically or fluidically couple the primary module to the secondary module upon assembling the primary frame and the secondary frame.
