LOW NOISE ENCLOSURE
Systems and apparatuses include an apparatus including an intake defined by an intake aperture, an intake baffle, and an intake floor structured to couple to an intake portion of an enclosure roof, the intake extending along at least eighty percent (80%) of a width of the apparatus on a first side, an exhaust defined by an exhaust aperture, an exhaust baffle, and an exhaust floor structured to couple to an exhaust portion of the enclosure roof, the exhaust extending along at least eighty percent (80%) of the width of the apparatus on a second side opposite the first side, a partition panel isolating the intake from the exhaust, and an engagement mechanism structured to couple the apparatus to a generator set.
FRAMELESS COOLING MODULE
A frameless cooling module includes a first and a second shroud panel arranged at opposing sides of the module and extending from the front of the module to the back of the module. At least one L-shaped stiffener bracket extends between the panels at an intermediate location along both the height direction and the depth direction of the module. One or more heat exchangers is arranged within the cooling module between the L-shaped stiffener bracket and the front of the module, and is at least partially secured within the cooling module by being mounted to the L-shaped stiffener bracket.
GENERATOR SET INTEGRATED GEARBOX
A generator set comprises an engine including a crankshaft rotatable in a first direction about a longitudinal axis of the generator set, and a generator including a generator shaft. A gearbox is positioned between the engine and the generator, all mounted on a chassis. The gearbox couples the crankshaft to the generator shaft. The gearbox includes a gearbox housing having a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to an engine first end and the second end is coupled to a generator first end. The gearbox also includes a gear set including a plurality of gears, a first gear shaft coupled to a crank shaft first end, and a second gear shaft coupled to a generator shaft first end. The crankshaft and at least a portion of the plurality of gears, and the generator shaft are axially aligned along the longitudinal axis of the generator set.
Mobile power generation system including fixture assembly
Mobile power generation system and methods using a fixture to position a generator pad assembly in a mobile power generation system include providing a trailer including a rear end, a front end, a bottom end, and a top end, a gas turbine housed inside the trailer having an internal base, and an electrical generator coupled to the gas turbine to generate electricity and housed inside the trailer. The generator pad assembly may include a plurality of generator pads fixed to the internal base, a respective plurality of sole plates positioned above the plurality of generator pads at a spacing, and a supportive material positioned around the plurality of generator pads and the respective plurality of sole plates to fix them in an aligned position. The fixture may be configured to fix the generator pad assembly to the internal base at the aligned position.
Engine system
A radiator chamber is provided in a top compartment of a package, whereas an engine is provided in a bottom compartment. Outside the package, a battery unit is attached to an external wall panel (e.g., lower panel) of the bottom compartment. The battery unit includes a dedicated unit ventilation fan and a unit ventilating section that introduces outside air into an enclosure of the battery unit. The enclosure has a lower portion thereof divided to accommodate a package ventilating section that ventilates the bottom compartment of the package. There is provided a detachable bottom compartment inspection window in the external wall panel below the battery unit.
Power systems with a rear surface exhaust
Disclosed power systems include an enclosure, an engine within the enclosure, a generator within the enclosure and configured to convert mechanical power from the engine to electrical power, an exhaust system, and one or more of, within the enclosure, welding-type conversion circuitry, an air compressor, a hydraulic pump, or auxiliary power conversion circuitry configured to convert the electrical power from the generator to at least one of AC output power or DC output power. The enclosure defines a rear surface when installed in a predetermined orientation. The exhaust system includes a muffler and a tail pipe, where an exhaust end of the tail pipe is at or near the rear surface of the enclosure.
STANDBY GENERATOR CONTROL AND ACCESS PANEL
A control system for a standby generator includes a control box mountable in a standby generator enclosure, a control panel, one or more linkage mechanisms coupling the control panel to the control box such that the control panel is selectively openable to provide access into the control box, and one or more generator control components mounted in the control box and operated by the control panel.
Generator set integrated gearbox
A generator set comprises an engine including a crankshaft rotatable in a first direction about a longitudinal axis of the generator set, and a generator including a generator shaft. A gearbox is positioned between the engine and the generator, all mounted on a chassis. The gearbox couples the crankshaft to the generator shaft. The gearbox includes a gearbox housing having a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to an engine first end and the second end is coupled to a generator first end. The gearbox also includes a gear set including a plurality of gears, a first gear shaft coupled to a crank shaft first end, and a second gear shaft coupled to a generator shaft first end. The crankshaft and at least a portion of the plurality of gears, and the generator shaft are axially aligned along the longitudinal axis of the generator set.
Portable generator
A portable engine-generator is described having an engine and a generator coupled to the engine. An engine mount has a mounting plate coupled to the engine and also includes a frame. An outer housing surrounds the engine, generator and frame. At least one handle is coupled to the outer housing. The housing is defined in three sections; a lower section, a middle section and an upper section. The three housing sections are coupled to the frame.
MODULAR GENSET ENCLOSURE COMPONENTS
A genset enclosure assembly comprises a first enclosure defining a first internal volume. A genset engine is positioned within the first internal volume. A first opening is defined in a first sidewall of a first side of the first enclosure. The genset enclosure assembly also includes a second enclosure defining a second internal volume. The second enclosure is positioned adjacent to the first side and removably coupled to the first side of the first enclosure. A first genset module is positioned in the second internal volume and operably coupled to the genset engine through the first opening.
