VARIABLE PNEUMATIC OUTPUT WITH CONSTANT ELECTRICAL OUTPUT DRIVEN BY A SINGLE ENGINE

In an embodiment, an integrated ground support system for an aircraft is described herein, the system including a frame on which the system is arranged as a singular assembly. An engine, drive train, alternator, bleed air unit, one or more electrical components, and air cycle machine are mounted on the frame. The engine operates at a first operational state associated with a first rotational speed that is independent of a frequency associated with electrical power, if only the electrical power is to be used by the aircraft, and the engine operates at a second operational state associated with a second rotational speed, different from the first rotational speed, that is a function of a pressure associated with bleed air or the conditioned air, if the electrical power and one of the bleed air or the conditioned air are to be used simultaneously by the aircraft.

Devices, systems, and methods to air cool a portable generator are disclosed. The devices include various air ducts to direct airflow over heated components within a cabinet of the portable generator to cool the components by convection. A damping fan draws ambient temperature air into the cabinet and directs the air into channels of an outflow duct.

CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTING SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE-BASED MACHINES

An internal combustion engine-based system includes an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine-based system includes an engine interrupt connected to the engine. The engine interrupt is configured to selectively stop the operation of the engine. The internal combustion engine-based system includes a controller in communication with the engine interrupt. The internal combustion engine-based system includes a carbon monoxide detector in communication with the controller. The controller uses the engine interrupt to stop the operation of the engine when the carbon monoxide detector provides the controller with signals that are representative of a carbon monoxide level proximate the internal combustion engine that together form a trend of building carbon monoxide amounts over a set time interval.

Containerised generator set with external upwardly open exhaust air duct
12060826 · 2024-08-13 · ·

A containerised generator set comprises a generator arranged within a container having a first aperture through which cooling air is exhausted in use. A pair of first doors are arranged to pivot outwardly on either side of the first aperture, with a removable wall being removably mounted between the first doors and spaced apart from the body of the container by the first doors from its lower end region to its tipper end region in its mounted position. The removable wall and the first doors define an exhaust air duct which preferably includes a sound absorbent material. The exhaust air duct extends for at least most of a total height of the body of the container to attenuate noise from the generator. Exhausted cooling air flows upwardly from the open upper end of the exhaust air duct and away from the immediate operating environment.

GENSET CONTAINERS WITH IMPROVED SERVICE ACCESS AND VENTILATION MODULE

A container for a genset comprises a housing defining an internal volume. The housing includes a floor, a roof and a plurality of sidewalls at least one of which is movable relative to the roof and the floor between a first configuration in which the housing has a first width, and a second configuration in which the housing has a second width greater than the first width. The first width is not sufficient for a user to enter the internal volume of the housing for accessing a genset disposed within the housing, and the second width is sufficient for the user to enter the internal volume for accessing the genset. The first width can be the same as the width of an International Organization for Standardization 6346 container.
