The V-type twin-cylinder engine is mounted on the frame. The exhaust pipe group has a first end coupled to the first exhaust port, a second end coupled to the second exhaust port, and a third end coupled to a pipe of the muffler. The exhaust pipe group is divided into at least two exhaust pipes, and adjacent exhaust pipes are flexibly coupled.
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH VARIABLE COMPRESSION RATIO AND MECHANISM FOR CHANGING THE COMPRESSION RATIO
Combustion engine with a variable compression ratio which, according to the invention, includes the following items: engine body, crankshaft with crank pins mounted rotatably in the body, cylinders, pistons connected to the crankshaft via pin connecting rod sand control arms as well as the control arm rod located inside the engine body, with eccentrics mounted on it, on which eccentrics for each piston there are separately mounted control arms, it is characterized by the fact that on the control arm rod (19) aside from the rigidly mounted eccentrics (18), on which single control arms (14) are rotatably mounted, there are also rotatably mounted eccentrics (23), on which single control arms (14) are rotatably mounted, where preferably on the eccentrics (18) are mounted the control arms (14) for one row of cylinders (5), while for the eccentrics (23) are mounted the control arms (14) for the other row of cylinders (5), additionally the engine contains a mechanism for changing the compression ratio consisting of the control arm rod (19) with eccentrics (18, 23) mounted on the control arm rod (19) as well as coupling elements that connect the elements of the mechanism which ensure that neighboring eccentrics (18, 23) rotate in opposite directions.
Vehicle and control method therefor
A vehicle includes a power generation device including a multi-cylinder engine, the power generation device being configured to output drive power to wheels, an exhaust gas control apparatus including a catalyst for removing exhaust gas from the multi-cylinder engine, and a control device configured to execute catalyst temperature increase control for stopping fuel supply to at least one cylinder and supplying fuel to remaining cylinders in a case where a temperature increase of the catalyst is requested during a load operation of the multi-cylinder engine, execute control such that the power generation device supplements insufficient drive power due to the execution of the catalyst temperature increase control, and change the cylinder, to which the fuel supply is stopped, according to a stop frequency of the fuel supply or an elapsed time from a start of the stop of the fuel supply during the execution of the catalyst temperature increase control.

OUTBOARD MACHINE
This outboard machine has: a V-type engine (engine) in which a plurality of cylinders are arranged in a V-shape when viewed in a plan view; and a cover that covers the engine. The engine has a plurality of intake ports that form pairs in a V-shape inside the plurality of cylinders in a plan view and a concave space is formed between the plurality of intake ports. The cover has therein an intake path that guides air to the intake port, and is also provided with, at a position that is adjacent to the intake path and enters the concave space, a silencer that attenuates the sound during intake.

Internal combustion engine with an epicyclic gear train and reciprocating pistons
Internal combustion engine with cylinders disposed radially around an axis (Z), in each of which slides a piston carrying out reciprocating rectilinear movements, reversibly transformed into a continuous rotation of an output shaft by: an active unit and passive unit each respectively having a planet gear, the axis of which is parallel to (Z), being capable of meshing with a ring gear, being maintained on its orbit via a planet carrier and having a pitch diameter identical to the pitch radius of the corresponding ring gear. The planet gear is driven in rotation by the planet gear and/or the planet carrier. Each planet gear is respectively rigidly connected to a connecting rod having crank pins, the axes of which are parallel to the axis (Z), pass through the pitch circle of the corresponding planet gear and being capable of cooperating by contact with rods rigidly connected to the pistons.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CYLINDER MISFIRE DETECTION
Methods and systems are provided for detection of cylinder misfire in an engine. In one example, a system may comprise a first cylinder and second cylinder of the engine having exhaust flows combined together in an exhaust system before being combined with other cylinders of the engine. The first cylinder and second cylinder may share an exhaust gas sensor mounted in the exhaust in a position to sense exhaust from the first cylinder and second cylinder, and being positioned before exhaust from other cylinders is combined with sensed exhaust from the first cylinder and second cylinder. The system may further include a control system with instructions stored therein to indicate detected misfire in one or more of the first and second sensors based on an output from the exhaust gas sensor.
