CARRIER ASSEMBLY
20180295774 · 2018-10-18 ·

A carrier assembly for an operating unit of an agricultural machine includes a carrier arm, a suspension system for suspending an operating unit from the carrier arm and a mounting structure for mounting the carrier arm on a carrier vehicle. A pivot mechanism enables pivoting movement of the carrier arm relative to the mounting structure, and a first actuator drives pivoting movement of the carrier arm between a working position and a transport position. The carrier assembly includes a releasable locking mechanism for locking the carrier arm in the transport position. The locking mechanism includes a first locking element carried by the mounting structure and a second locking element carried by the carrier arm, which is engageable with the first locking element when the carrier arm is in the transport position.

Slope mower
20170112053 · 2017-04-27 ·

A mowing apparatus created by connecting a powered walk-behind mower to the side of a small tractor using a rigid articulated frame. The length of the frame provides the extended reach into the slope, allowing the tractor to stay on the flat terrain while mowing the adjacent steep slopes. The connection between the tractor and the mower is rigid in the horizontal directions, allowing the fine control of the mower position during the tractor movement both forward and in reverse, straight and turning, and articulated in the vertical direction, allowing the mower to follow the shape of the slope and preventing the transmission of the excessive side forces to the tractor, avoiding the risk of the tractor overturning. The apparatus allows the tractor and the mower to be quickly disconnected and used separately for their original purposes.

REAR MOUNTED ROTATING MOWER ASSEMBLY
20170071126 · 2017-03-16 ·

A mounted mower coupled to a hitch of a work machine that has an output, the mounted mower comprising a sub-frame having one or more hitch couplers selectively coupled to the hitch of the work machine. The mounted mower also has a mower arm with a first end and a second end, the first end being pivotally coupled to the sub-frame. The mower aim is pivotable about the first end between a first position and a second position relative to the sub-frame. The mower arm has a mower head mechanically coupled to the mower arm at the second end. The mower head has at least one disc pivotally coupled to the mower head, the at least one disc able to rotate about a disc pivot axis defined by the respective disc. Further, at least one disc may change the direction the disc rotates between the first and second position.

Boom apparatus with nose body

A boom apparatus comprises at least one flexible line and a boom. The boom comprises a nose body. The nose body comprises a passageway through which the at least one flexible line is routed.

Method and apparatus for mounting a flail mower

A method and apparatus for attaching a forward-mounted implement that may allow pivotal movement of the implement around a longitudinal axis to better maintain proper operational height when operating on uneven or sloped terrain. Further provided, the attachment mechanism of the present disclosure may allow for a secure and safe attachment to an associated tractor or other similar vehicle while simultaneously providing for a reduced production cost and less maintenance requirements.

Rotary cutter implement with ball joint connection to a power machine
09554514 · 2017-01-31 · ·

A rotary cutter implement includes a carrier interface, a frame, and a mower deck including a ball joint interconnecting the mower deck with the frame. The ball joint enables freedom of movement of the mower deck with respect to the frame. A hydraulic motor is mounted on an upper surface of the mower deck and includes an output shaft extending through the mower deck. The hydraulic motor is adapted to operate under the influence of hydraulic fluid provided by the power machine. A rotary cutting blade is operably coupled to the output shaft and rotatable under the mower deck in response to operation of the hydraulic motor.
