Foldable working machine with safety switch to enable operation
A working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises an operation rod, a leading end unit, a rear end unit, and a drive permitter. The operation rod is configured to be transformable between an extended state and a non-extended state. The leading end unit is provided at one end of the operation rod. The leading end unit comprises a motor configured to drive a working element. The rear end unit is provided at the other end of the operation rod. The rear end unit comprises a controller configured to control driving of the motor. The drive permitter is configured to permit driving of the motor when the operation rod is in the extended state and not to permit driving of the motor when the operation rod is in the non-extended state.
POWERED TOOL DEVICE
A powered tool device may include a first handle grip coupled to a first handle bar and a second handle grip coupled to a second handle bar. A first battery may be coupled to the first handle bar, and a second battery may be coupled to the second handle bar. The two handle bars, handle grips, and their respective batteries may be separated from each other via a separation structure that may separate the two handle bars by a distance which may allow portions of the body of a user to be between the handle bars. Optionally, the separation structure may be moved between an extended position and a compacted position.
POWER TOOL HAVING A BACKPACK-HOUSED POWER SUPPLY
A backpack system for use with a power tool, the system including a harness system configured to extend at least over a user's shoulders, and a carrier portion configured to be coupled to the harness system. At least one battery pack is housed within the carrier portion, and at least one electrical connector is coupled to the at least one battery pack, with the at least one battery pack being configured to provide power to the power tool. The carrier portion may further include at least one opening formed therein to allow the passage of air at least partially through the carrier portion. The power tool may be a string trimmer or a blower. Additionally, one or more carrier portions may be recharged in a recharging station which is configured to allow for hands-free connection of a carrier portion to a user's harness system.
Brush cutter
A brush cutter includes a frame rod, a front end housing fixedly mounted to a front end of the frame rod, a cutting blade mounted on a support shaft within the front end housing, a rear end housing fixedly mounted to a rear end of the frame rod, an electric motor mounted within the rear end housing for rotation of the cutting blade, and a source of power supply for supplying electric power to the motor. In the brush cutter, a plurality of rechargeable battery packs adapted to use in electric power tools are used as the source of power supply for the motor.
Lawn and garden tool with boom having adjustable length and detachable boom sections
A lawn and garden tool having a handle, a tool head and an adjustable length boom, wherein the boom includes telescoping first and second boom sections. The tool includes a connector assembly having a lock adapted to selectively lock the boom sections relative to one another at any one of a plurality of telescopic locations. The connector assembly further includes a latch adapted to maintain engagement of the boom sections relative to one another, wherein the latch may be manipulated by an operator to selectively allow separation of the boom sections.
ADJUSTABLE CARRIER ASSEMBLY FOR A HARNESS
A carrier assembly for a harness for carrying a motor-driven power tool, the carrier assembly including a back plate and an interface plate including connections for shoulder straps. The back plate includes a coupling interface on a front face arranged to be removably connected to a corresponding coupling interface on a rear face of the interface plate. The coupling interface of the back plate is adapted to be connected to and disconnected from the coupling interface of the interface plate in an at least partially translational or linear movement which is substantially parallel to the back plate.
ERGONOMIC APPARATUS FOR HANDHELD TOOLS AND POWERED TOOLS
An ergonomic apparatus relates to simplifying and making more ergonomic use of handheld tool products. In one embodiment, an ergonomic apparatus comprises a handle for gripping that is attached to a work tool on a working end and attached to a base structure extending to and adjustably encompassing the wrist and forearm so that the weight of an attachable work tool and leverage provided to the user is shifted farther back on the arm where the ergonomic apparatus is substantially secured on the forearm with an adjustable means which acts to contain the forearm.
ERGONOMIC GRIPPING MECHANISMS OF AN ELECTRIC CUTTING APPARATUS
Ergonomic gripping mechanisms of battery-operated electric cutting apparatus are provided. The electric cutting apparatus may include a cantilevered cutting head, an adjustable telescoping shaft, a rear grip portion, a pistol grip, and a forearm shaft. The adjustable telescoping shaft may be pivotally connected to the cantilevered cutting head. The rear grip portion may have a first end connected to the adjustable telescoping shaft. The pistol grip may have a first end extending at a first angle from the second end of the rear grip portion. The forearm shaft may extend from the second end of the pistol grip at a second angle. The forearm shaft may have a top side comprising a forearm pad having an exterior surface configured to receive a forearm of a user. The exterior surface of the forearm pad may be parallel to an axis defined by a longitudinal extension of the adjustable telescoping shaft.
Wearable Drive System for a Work Apparatus
A drive system includes a carrying device with a wearable carrying frame, an energy store carried by the carrying frame, and at least one electric drive motor carried by the carrying frame. A coupling device is configured to mechanically couple a work apparatus to the drive system. The carrying device is formed as a shoulder bag or backpack, having at least one strap that permits the carrying device to be worn over a shoulder of a user. Two straps may provided that permit the carrying device to be worn over both shoulders of a user.
Tool support strap
A tool support strap is disclosed that has an inner, elastic core throughout the entire central segment of the strap with an elastomeric covering over the inner core. Encircling the elastic core is a self-centering shoulder pad. Adjustable straps are provided to adjust for the girth and the arm length of the user, which may be done through a central buckle, clip, or the like.
