Vehicle system

A vehicle system includes: an internal combustion engine including an electronically-controlled throttle valve configured to change throttle opening degrees in a step-wise manner among at least three selectable opening degrees, and being mounted on a vehicle; and a control device configured to control the vehicle. The control device includes a required throttle opening degree setting component and a first throttle opening degree selecting component. The first throttle opening degree selecting component is configured to: select, at the time of acceleration of the vehicle, a first throttle opening degree that is greater than the required throttle opening degree and is the closest to the required throttle opening degree; and select, at the time of deceleration of the vehicle, a second throttle opening degree that is smaller than the required throttle opening degree and is the closest to the required throttle opening degree.

A throttle grip device includes: a throttle grip; an interlocking member including an engaged portion engaged with an engaging portion formed on the throttle grip, and rotating in conjunction with the normal rotation and the reversed rotation of the throttle grip; a first urging unit configured to urge the interlocking member toward the initial position when the throttle grip is subjected to the normal rotation; a second urging unit configured to urge the interlocking member toward the initial position when the throttle grip is subjected to the reversed rotation; a rotation angle detecting unit detecting a rotation angle of the throttle grip by detecting a rotation angle of the interlocking member; and a pressing unit pressing the engaging portion against the engaged portion by an urging force of the second urging unit when the throttle grip is in the initial position.

Garden tool

A garden tool includes a gasoline engine and a power source, the gasoline engine including a fuel supply system and an ignition system. The garden tool may further include a control system with at least one sensor used for collecting a working condition signal of the gasoline engine and a controller used for receiving the working condition signal and controlling the fuel supply system and/or the ignition system according to the working condition signal received. The power source may provide a power supply for the fuel supply system, the ignition system, and the control system through the controller.

A throttle assembly for an engine includes a remote control throttle lever, a manual throttle control lever, and a throttle return spring. The remote control throttle lever is configured to operate the throttle assembly and the engine based on a force received from an external device. The manual throttle control lever is configured to operate the throttle assembly and the engine based on a force received from a user input at an input portion of the manual throttle control lever. An abutment portion of the manual throttle control lever is spaced from the input portion of the manual throttle control lever and configured to abut the remote control throttle lever. The throttle return spring is configured to bias the remote control throttle lever against the abutment portion of the manual throttle control lever in an opposite direction of the force received from the external device.

An ECM determines a failure exist and a failure site in a control valve device from first and second failure diagnoses. In the first failure diagnosis, a failure is determined to have occurred if an opening amount that represents an absolute value of a difference between a detected opening amount and a target opening amount of a valve body is greater than a preset threshold when the target opening amount of the valve body is constant for a predetermined time. In the second failure diagnosis, a failure is determined to have occurred if an opening amount that represents the absolute value of the difference between the opening amount of the valve body when fully open or fully closed and the detected opening amount is greater than the preset threshold when a portion rotating integrally with the valve body has been pressed against a stopper continuously for a predetermined time.

A simple and effective control method is disclosed for starting and stopping a vehicle's engine and automatic lighting of position lamps to show the vehicle's location. The method uses brake and gear shift lever of the vehicle to generate selection signals, and a button switch can be pressed to stop or start the engine of the vehicle according to the selection signals, which can provide vehicle drivers a simple and secure way to control their vehicles while waiting at a stoplight.

Throttle Valve Control Device

An object of the present application invention is to provide a throttle valve control device capable of effectively cooling a bearing of a throttle shaft while preventing an increase in size of a throttle body. Therefore, in a throttle valve control device in which flow paths 5T1 to 5T3 through which a heat exchange medium flows are formed in a throttle body 5, the diameter of a first bearing 8 of a throttle shaft 3 is greater than the diameter of a second bearing 9, the flow paths 5T1 to 5T3 are disposed along an outer periphery of an intake passage 1 to overlap with the second bearing 9 when viewed from a flow direction of the intake passage 1, and an inlet portion 5T1 and the outlet portion 5T3 of the flow paths 5T1 to 5T3 are disposed to sandwich the first bearing 8.
