AUGER COVER
An auger cover for an auger conveyor for a grain bin of a combine harvester includes a cover plate that is hingedly attached to the auger conveyor. The hinge attaching the cover plate to the auger conveyor has a hinge plate that includes a flexible material.
Spill saver control system for combine harvester unloading system
An unloading system for a combine harvester having a belt-driven unloading auger assembly and a spill saver door mounted proximate to a discharge end of the unloading auger assembly. Engagement of the belt drive is controlled by a first hydraulic cylinder. Opening of the spill saver door is controlled by a second hydraulic actuator. The first and second hydraulic cylinders are hydraulically connected in parallel.
ENHANCEMENT OF COMBINE HARVESTER YIELD DATA THROUGH AUGMENTATION WITH SPATIAL GRAIN CART DATA
In one embodiment, a method for processing harvest yield data includes the steps of receiving load data from a grain cart and receiving harvest yield data from a combine harvester. The load data and harvest yield data are post-processed to generate enhanced harvest yield data. The combine harvester and the grain cart can operate in an on-the-go unloading harvest operation or a stationary unloading harvest operation. Post-processing can include creating a field boundary for a harvest area, determining a start time and start position for the combine harvester within the field boundary, and determining an end time and end position for the combine harvester within the field boundary. The total grain yield weight estimated by a yield monitor can be calibrated to match the grain cart total scale weight.
Elevator assembly for an agricultural harvester with a storage hopper having a conveyor therein
An elevator assembly for a harvester may include an elevator housing and an elevator extending within the elevator housing between a proximal end and a distal end. As such, the elevator may be configured to carry harvested crops between its proximal and distal ends. Furthermore, the elevator assembly may include a storage hopper extending from the elevator housing at a location adjacent to the distal end of the elevator. The storage hopper may include a conveyor extending within the storage hopper between a first end and a second end, with the conveyor configured to carry the harvested crops between its first and second ends towards a discharge opening of the storage hopper.
Airflow for an agricultural harvesting combine
A harvesting combine has a forward power processing unit (PPU) powered by an internal combustion engine, a rear grain cart for storage of harvested grain, a forward operator cab, a cleaning fan assembly located about the forward bottom of the PPU, and rotor and concaves assembly for threshing grain. The harvesting combine is improved by locating a charge fan assembly behind the forward operator cab and drawing air from about the top of the PPU and directing a portion of an air flow from the charge fan assembly downwardly into the cleaning fan assembly.
MONITOR AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A HARVESTER
A harvester including a frame supported by a drive assembly for movement along a support surface, a head unit coupled to the harvester and configured to selectively harvest crop material, a camera coupled to the frame and configured to generate one or more images of a field of view, and a controller in operable communication with the camera and the head unit, where the controller is configured to determine one or more crop attributes based at least in part on the one or more images produced by the camera.
Telescoping rotatable tool
A telescoping rotatable tool includes a first shaft and a second shaft. The first shaft has a first material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft has a second material-engaging element extending from an exterior surface of the second shaft. The second shaft is configured to extend from and retract within an interior space presented by the first shaft. The first shaft includes at least one helical-shaped groove extending along an interior surface of the first shaft. The second shaft includes at least one guide element extending from the exterior surface of the second shaft. The guide element is configured to engage with the groove, such that as the second shaft extends from and retracts within the first shaft, the second shaft is configured to rotate with respect to the first shaft.
Unloading conveyor swing control system
An unloading conveyor of an agricultural harvesting machine is pivotably mounted to a frame for pivoting movement through a movement range that is defined between first and second end positions. Movement of the unloading conveyor within the movement range is controlled by movement of a user-actuated scroll wheel.
CONVERTIBLE DUAL-SIDED AUGER SYSTEM FOR A FARM IMPLEMENT
A farm implement includes a frame, a container mounted on the frame, an intake housing rotatably connected to a front wall of the container proximate to a discharge opening, a first auger assembly, and a second auger assembly. The first auger assembly is disposed in the container and conveys agricultural material through the discharge opening. The second auger assembly is rotatably connected to an outlet of the intake housing and includes an inlet that receives agricultural material from the intake housing and an outlet that discharges agricultural material. The farm implement further includes a first mounting assembly and a second mounting assembly disposed along the front wall. The second auger assembly is mounted on one of the first and second mounting assemblies at an operating position, without being mounted to the other one of the first and second mounting assemblies.
Unload spout inclination limit adjust system and method
An unloading conveyor arrangement for an agricultural machine includes a conveyor having a discharge end, and a spout arrangement at the discharge end of the conveyor. A range for the position of the spout is determined from one or more factors such as topography and the physical characteristics of the material being handled through the conveyor. The actual position of the spout is ascertained and a warning or an adjustment is made if the actual position is not within the range.
