A harvester includes a chopper assembly configured to process harvested crops and an elevator positioned downstream of the chopper assembly such that the harvested crops processed by the chopper assembly are received by the elevator. The harvester also includes a storage hopper located adjacent to a distal end of the elevator and positioned to receive the harvested crops therefrom, and a conveyor extending within the storage hopper between a first end and a second end of the conveyer, with the conveyor configured to carry the harvested crops between its first and second ends towards a discharge opening of the storage hopper. Additionally, the harvester includes a door positioned adjacent to the discharge opening of the storage hopper, and a door actuator coupled to the door. The door actuator is configured to move the door relative to the discharge opening between an opened position and a closed position.
System and method for controlling unloading system position of an agricultural harvester
A system for controlling an unloading system of an agricultural harvester includes a frame. A crop unloading system includes an unloading tube operably coupled to the frame and a spout operably coupled with the unloading tube. The crop unloading system is configured to discharge harvested crop from the agricultural harvester. A computing system is communicatively coupled to a user interface and the crop unloading system. The computing system is configured to store a predetermined unloading position based on a defined location of the unloading tube and a defined location of the spout received through one or more inputs. When an input is actuated for a minimum threshold, the computing system controls an operation of one or more actuators such that the unloading system is moved relative to the frame from a current position to the predetermined unloading position.

A harvester includes: a crop tank that stores a crop harvested by a harvesting device; a weight detection unit that detects a storage weight, which is a value indicating the weight of the crop stored in the crop tank; a maximum weight calculation unit that calculates a maximum weight, which is a value indicating the weight of the crop at the maximum storage amount of the crop tank; a unit harvest weight calculation unit calculates a unit harvest weight that indicates the weight of the crop harvested per unit of harvest-travel distance; and a maximum travel distance calculation unit that calculates a maximum travel distance, which is the maximum distance that can be traveled during traveling harvesting before the amount of the crop stored in the crop tank reaches the maximum storage amount, based on the storage weight, the maximum weight, and the unit harvest weight.
Rear grain cart handling assemblies for an articulated harvesting combine
A grain harvesting articulated combine of a forward crop processing power unit (PPU), a rear grain cart, and an articulation joint that connects the PPU with the rear grain cart and includes an auger assembly that moves clean grain from the PPU to the rear grain cart. Two pump circuits deliver power to a pair of hydrostatic motors located in the rear grain cart, one pump circuit hydrostatic motor driving the grain unloader assembly, the other pump circuit hydrostatic motor driving the ascending fill lift auger assembly, the drag auger assemblies, and the articular joint auger assembly. Power (inertia) can be harvested from auger assemblies not moving grain for startup or clog clearing of the other auger assemblies.

SYSTEM FOR UNLOADING HARVESTED CROP FROM AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
An unloading system for a harvester is described as including a crop delivery apparatus, an unloading structure and a belt. The crop delivery apparatus defines an outlet and is configured and positioned to propel a flow of crop material through the outlet such that a least a portion of the crop material is deposited onto the belt. The unloading structure is configured to receive the crop material from the crop delivery apparatus and has a structure including a conveyor tube portion extending along a longitudinal axis, the conveyor tube portion defining a passage therethrough having an open intake end. The belt extends from the intake end through the passage for transporting the crop material through the conveyor tube portion. A projection of the longitudinal axis of the conveyor tube portion of the unloading structure passes through an internal cross-sectional area defined by the outlet of the crop delivery apparatus.
SYSTEM FOR UNLOADING HARVESTED CROP FROM AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
An unloading system for a harvester is described as including a crop delivery apparatus, an unloading structure, a belt, and a deflector. The crop delivery apparatus has an outlet through which a flow of crop material is expelled. The unloading structure receives the flow of crop material from the outlet of the crop delivery apparatus and includes a conveyor tube portion extending along a longitudinal axis and defining a passage therethrough with an open intake end. The belt extends into from the intake end through the passage for transporting the flow of crop material through the conveyor tube portion. The deflector extends within the unloading structure from an upstream end to a downstream end such that at least a portion of the flow of crop material received from the crop delivery apparatus contacts the deflector and is directed towards at least a portion of the belt.
A MATERIAL PROCESSING BARREL AND ASSOCIATED MATERIAL PROCESSING SYSTEM
A material processing system having a barrel also referred to hereinafter having a milling or impact surface and a central axis. The impact surface is impervious, in that material cannot pass through the surface, but rather is contained by the surface. An impact mechanism is located within barrel and is rotates about the central axis. The system has inlet openings and formed in the barrel at axially spaced locations along the axis. At least one outlet opening is formed in the barrel at a location intermediate of the inlets. The impact mechanism includes a plurality of hammers mounted on shaft which rotates about the axis.

Automatically securing unloading auger support
An unloading auger locking mechanism for use by an agricultural harvester, allowing the secure retainment of an unloading auger while it is in its stored position, accomplished by the passive locking between a latch assembly mounted on the unloading auger and an actuated hook assembly on the chassis, further allowing the unlocking of the mechanism by remote actuation. Locking and unlocking of the unloading auger can therefore be accomplished without the operator leaving the cab.
