MACHINE CONTROL USING A PREDICTIVE MAP
One or more information maps are obtained by an agricultural work machine. The one or more information maps map one or more agricultural characteristic values at different geographic locations of a field. An in-situ sensor on the agricultural work machine senses an agricultural characteristic as the agricultural work machine moves through the field. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts a predictive agricultural characteristic at different locations in the field based on a relationship between the values in the one or more information maps and the agricultural characteristic sensed by the in-situ sensor. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.
REEL DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HEADER
A header for an agricultural vehicle including a frame, a reel rotatably mounted to the frame, and a reel drive assembly operably connected to the reel. The reel drive assembly rotates the reel in a first drive configuration and a second drive configuration. The reel drive assembly includes a first drive operably connected to the reel, and a second drive selectively connected to the reel such that the second drive is disconnected from the reel in the first drive configuration and the second drive is operably connected to the reel in parallel with the first drive in the second drive configuration.

An agricultural work machine and a method for operating an agricultural work machine are disclosed. The agricultural work machine includes a driver assistance system, which comprises a memory for storing data, a computing device for processing the data stored in the memory, and a graphical interface. The computing device graphically displays an operating data field via the graphical interface, which represents a display range for a first operating parameter, and the current value for the first operating parameter in the operating data field. The computing device evaluates the first operating parameter over a portion of the display range according to an evaluation criterion that relates to a second operating parameter, evaluates the first operating parameter based on a relationship between the first operating parameter and the second operating parameter contained in a characteristic diagram system, and graphically displays the evaluation data determined in this manner in the operating data field.

AGRICULTURAL WORK SYSTEM
An agricultural work system for the optimization of operating parameters, with at least one agricultural work machine having a work unit for carrying out or supporting agricultural work. The agricultural work machine has a driver assistance system for detecting, processing and outputting data relating to an agricultural work order. The driver assistance system is configured to detect a plurality of operating parameters and to allow the operator to rank the detected operating parameters or operating parameter sets with a plurality of different detected operating parameters. Individual ranked operating parameters or sets of operating parameters or all of the ranked operating parameters or sets of operating parameters are retrievably filed in a data pool, and the operating parameters are submitted based on ranking to an algorithm for generating optimized operating parameters for adjustment of the agricultural work machine and/or of the at least one work unit.
CLEANING ASSEMBLY FOR A COMBINE HARVESTER
A cleaning assembly for a combine harvester. The cleaning assembly includes a conveyor for transporting at least one of or both of a threshed or separated mixture of grain and contaminants from at least one of or both of a threshing or separating device to an inlet of the cleaning assembly, screens for cleaning the mixture fed to the inlet of the cleaning assembly, which are able to be subjected to the action of an air flow by a fan, and a cross conveyor, arranged at the inlet of the cleaning assembly, for evening out the lateral distribution of the fed mixture. The cross conveyor is implemented with an open, air-permeable design and is arranged in an air flow provided by the fan.
Actively synchronized dual reciprocating-knife cutter bar
An agricultural vehicle includes a chassis and a header. The header includes a cutter bar and a cutter bar feedback control system. The cutter bar is moveably connected to the header and has a first knife and a second knife. The cutter bar feedback control system is coupled to the cutter bar and is configured for selectively controlling a speed of the second knife. The cutter bar feedback control system includes a continuously variable transmission that is operably coupled to the second knife, a first sensor operably coupled to the first knife, a second sensor operably coupled to the second knife, and a controller in communication with the continuously variable transmission, the first sensor, and the second sensor. The controller is configured for controlling the continuously variable transmission to control the speed of the second knife such that the first knife and second knife synchronously reciprocate in opposing directions.
