Fuel injection control device
A fuel injection control device is for a fuel injection system including a fuel injection valve for injecting a fuel in an internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system is configured to perform multiple-stage injection for injecting fuel multiple times in one combustion cycle. The fuel injection control device includes an information acquisition unit to acquire a parameter, which indicates an influence of a pre-stage injection on a post-stage injection, in the pre-stage injection and the post-stage injection subsequent to the pre-stage injection in the multi-stage injection. The fuel injection control device further includes a correction unit to correct a mode of the post-stage injection based on the parameter.
Magnetic valve recoil device
The magnetic valve recoil device is intended for a valve-type ignition pre-chamber having a stratification cavity connected by a stratification pipe, which a stratification valve can close, to a combustion chamber housing a primary charge, a stratification injector, and an ignition unit leading to the cavity in order to inject and ignite an initiator charge so as to ignite the primary charge via a torch ignition pre-chamber formed by the stratification valve with the stratification pipe when it is not closing the latter, the valve being otherwise kept in contact with the pipe by a magnetic field created by a magnetic field source.
Control device for fuel injection device
An object is to suppress an inclination of a waveform indicating an injection quantity with respect to an injection pulse particularly when a lift amount of a valve body is small and an injection pulse width is short, thereby improving control accuracy of the injection quantity of a fuel injection device. Thus, a control device for controlling a fuel injection device, which includes a valve body, a solenoid, and a movable element to open the valve body, is provided with a control unit that controls a drive voltage or a drive current to be applied to the solenoid, in which the control unit controls the drive current such that the drive current to be supplied to the solenoid decreases from a maximum drive current after the maximum drive current is supplied to the solenoid and before the valve body starts to open.
Engine fuel injection control device
Disclosed is a fuel injection control device for an engine equipped with a solenoid-type fuel injector 67. The fuel injection control device comprises: a voltage sensor SW19 configured to detect a voltage of a solenoid of the fuel injector 67; and a PCM 10 configured to set a valve-open period of the fuel injector 67, based on a fuel injection amount according to an operation state of the engine 1, and control the fuel injector 67 based on the valve-open period. The PCM 10 is configured to perform correction for gradually shortening the set valve-open period, as the voltage (residual voltage) detected by the voltage sensor SW19 when opening the fuel injector becomes larger, and control the fuel injector 67 based on the corrected valve-open period.
Controller for internal combustion engine and method for controlling internal combustion engine
A controller of an internal combustion engine includes processing circuitry configured to execute a peak current command value calculating process of calculating a peak current command value, which is a command value of a peak current flowing through a coil, based on a detection value of a pressure in a delivery pipe, and a peak control process of controlling a value of the peak current at the peak current command value. The in-cylinder injection valve is configured to execute multi-stage injection including a first injection and a second injection carried out at a timing toward a retarding side from the first injection. A peak current command value for the second injection is larger than the peak current command value for the first injection.
Actuation of fuel injectors for multiple injections
A method for actuating a fuel injector having a magnetic coil drive for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The fuel injector has a first terminal and a second terminal, where the first terminal is connectable via a switch element to ground and the second terminal is connected to ground. The method includes the following: actuating the switch element to connect the first terminal to ground, acquiring a time curve of the current strength of a current flowing through the magnetic coil drive, and applying a voltage pulse to the magnetic coil drive to initiate an opening procedure of the fuel injection. A duration of the voltage pulse is established as a function of the acquired time curve of the current strength. Furthermore, an engine controller and a computer program are described.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE
Provided is an electronic control device capable of always achieving a desired injector injection amount by preventing a change in injector opening time regardless of a change (a decrease) of a power supply voltage for opening a valve of an injector. A precharge current amount at the time of precharge control is changed in a stepwise manner based on a voltage of the injector valve open power supply device 10 at the time of the precharge control.
Control device for fuel injection device
A control device of a fuel injection device improves stabilization in an opening operation of a valve element and stabilizes an injection amount. The control device includes a valve element to open a fuel passage by being separated from a valve seat, a movable iron core to perform an opening/closing operation of the valve element, and a fixed iron core to attract the movable iron core when a current flows to a coil. The control device includes a control unit which performs an intermediate energization in which the coil is energized again to attract the movable iron core to the fixed iron core and then the energizing to the coil is blocked and the movable iron core is displaced in a direction away from the fixed core. The control unit controls whether the intermediate energization is performed according to an injection interval of the fuel injection device.
FUEL INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE AND FUEL INJECTION CONTROL METHOD
A fuel injection control device includes an additional energization unit. Concerning an undershoot state caused by a first energization for fuel injection, a return period is an estimated period required for a movable core to return to an initial position from a first energization. An injection interval ranges from the first energization to a second energization that is for a next fuel injection. An allowable period is obtained by subtracting a rise period estimated for the second energization from the return period. The additional energization unit adds an additional energization between the first energization and the second energization when the injection interval is longer than or equal to the allowable period and is shorter than or equal to the return period.
Optimum current drive for a actuator control
A method for operating an electromagnetic actuator includes an actuation event utilizing a current waveform for the actuator characterized by an initial peak pull-in current in a first direction of current flow when the actuator is commanded to an actuated position; and a reversed peak current in a second opposite direction of current flow applied after the actuator is commanded to a rest position. The reversed peak current has a magnitude that is greater than the magnitude of the initial peak pull-in current.
