A data propagation system stores operator/machine/implement combinations, and corresponding settings data indicative of settings on the machine or implement for the corresponding combination. When a machine is connected to an implement, an identity of an operator is detected, along with an identity of the machine and an identity of the implement. The data propagation system determines whether settings data is available for that operator/machine/implement combination. If so, the settings data is obtained and the machine and implement are automatically controlled based upon the retrieved settings data.

The agricultural system also includes a hydraulic circuit fluidly coupled to the hydraulic cylinder, in which the hydraulic circuit is configured to control a fluid flow into and out of the hydraulic cylinder to adjust the gauge wheel relative to the frame, and the hydraulic circuit includes an accumulator configured to enable an amount of fluid in the hydraulic cylinder to change during a harvesting operation of the agricultural system such that the gauge wheel may oscillate from a set position during the harvesting operation.

In one aspect, the present subject matter is directed to a header-based harvesting system for agricultural harvesters that includes a header configured to be removably coupled to a front end of a harvester. The header includes a header frame and a base cutter assembly coupled to the header frame in a floating arrangement. Additionally, the system includes an actuator coupled between the header frame and the base cutter assembly, and a hydraulic circuit in fluid communication with the actuator. The hydraulic circuit is configured to allow pressurized hydraulic fluid to be supplied to the actuator for regulating the floating movement of the base cutter assembly relative to the header frame.

The resilient support is configured to generate an adjustable predetermined force to bias the ground support in the downward direction.

Harvester crop mapping

A control system for a harvester that harvests crop stalks each having a bottom portion and a top portion. The harvester includes a topper that cuts the stalks between the top and bottom portions and a base cutter that cuts the stalks near a ground surface. The control system includes a sensor that senses a first height between the top of the bottom portion and the ground surface, and senses a second height between the bottom of the bottom portion and the ground surface. The controller receives signals representing the sensed first and second heights from the sensor, determines average first and second heights for the stalks over a set time, sends a first signal to the topper to cause movement of the topper to the average first height, and sends a second signal to the base cutter to cause movement of the base cutter to the average second height.

A controller is configured to receive a signal from the wing sensor and to send a signal to the actuator to vary a ratio of the first variable portion of the weight of the wing to the second variable portion of the weight of the wing.

The harvester also includes a controller in operable communication with the mono-camera, where the controller establishes a second two-dimensional reference frame fixed relative to the first field of view, where the controller identifies a reference point within the first image, where the controller locates the reference point within the second two-dimensional reference frame, and where the controller calculates the location of the reference point relative to the first, three-dimensional reference frame based on the position of the reference point within the second two-dimensional reference frame.
