Deployable fairing for door reversers systems and methods
A thrust reverser may include a frame, an actuation arrangement, a reverser door pivotally coupled to the frame, and a deployable fairing pivotally coupled to the frame, wherein the deployable fairing is configured to move away from a central axis of the thrust reverser to provide clearance for one of more thrust reverser pivot doors to rotate into a deployed position.
ACTUATION SYSTEM FOR A THRUST REVERSER OF AN AIRCRAFT PROPULSION SYSTEM
An assembly is provided for an aircraft propulsion system. This assembly includes a first actuator, a second actuator and a linkage system. The linkage system is configured to transfer torque between the first actuator and the second actuator. The linkage system includes a first linkage shaft, a second linkage shaft and a gearbox. The first linkage shaft has a first centerline. The second linkage shaft has a second centerline offset from the first centerline. The gearbox is coupled to and is between the first linkage shaft and the second linkage shaft.
Aircraft propulsion assembly comprising a thrust reverser
An aircraft propulsion assembly, including a turbine engine comprising at least one gas generator configured to generate a main flow, which is supplied by a central jet to at least one power turbine, the central jet being surrounded by an outer fairing, and the power turbine driving, on the periphery thereof, at least one fan rotor. The aircraft propulsion assembly comprises first movable means which are arranged so as to divert at least some of the main flow from the central jet to the outside of the outer fairing and preferably upstream of the turbine engine so as to generate thrust reversal. An aircraft which uses the propulsion assembly, particularly on the rear tip of the fuselage of the aircraft.

SYSTEMS FOR THRUST REVERSER WITH TEMPERATURE AND FLUID MANAGEMENT
A thrust reverser system includes at least one hinge coupled to the thrust reverser system so as to be adjacent to at least one opening defined in the thrust reverser system. The thrust reverser system includes at least one body coupled to the at least one hinge. The at least one body has a first body end and an opposing second body end. The body pivotally coupled to the hinge such that a portion of the body is positionable within the at least one opening and the body includes at least one counterweight at the first body end or the second body end. The body is positioned within the at least one opening based on an operating condition of the gas turbine engine.
Limited flow thrust reverser actuating
An engine assembly includes a nacelle configured to at least partially surround an engine and a thrust reverser coupled to the nacelle. The thrust reverser includes: a thrust-reversing element movable relative to the nacelle between a stowed position and a deployed position; a hydraulic actuator operably coupled to move the thrust-reversing element; and a fluid control system configured to operate the hydraulic actuator. The fluid control system includes: a directional control unit including a directional control valve operable to selectively route fluid between a pressurized fluid source, the actuator, and a fluid return reservoir; one or more bypass fluid lines providing fluid communication between the actuator and the fluid return reservoir independent of the directional control valve; and a flow limiter residing between the pressurized fluid source and the directional control valve, the flow limiter configured to inhibit a pressure draw by the actuator from surpassing a predetermined threshold.
