SYNCHRONIZED AIR MODULATING SYSTEM
A system for modulating air flow in a gas turbine engine is provided. The system may include a seal wall comprising an opening, a seal door configured to slideably engage the seal wall, and an actuator configured to move the seal door over the opening. In various embodiments, the system may include a surface forward of the seal door. The seal door may be configured to seal a passage through the surface and the opening of the seal wall. A track may be disposed under the seal door. The track may comprise cobalt. Rollers may be coupled to the seal door with the rollers on the track. The seal door may comprise a nickel-chromium alloy. A sync ring may be coupled to the seal door. The actuator may be coupled through the sync ring to the seal door.

A gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a propulsor including a circumferential array of blades, a low pressure compressor section including a low pressure compressor section inlet with a low pressure compressor section inlet annulus area and a low pressure turbine section. The low pressure turbine section includes a maximum gas path radius, the blades include a maximum radius, and a ratio of the maximum gas path radius to the maximum radius of the blades is equal to or greater than 0.35, and is less than 0.55.

BYPASS TURBOMACHINE FOR AN AIRCRAFT
The invention relates to a bypass turbomachine (2) for an aircraft, comprising a gas generator (5) and a ducted fan (4) comprising variable pitch blades (18) configured to take a reverse thrust position driving a reverse flow (24) of air within a secondary duct (16), the gas generator (5) being connected to a fan casing (3) by a stator blade assembly (40) that passes through the secondary duct, first openings (28) for letting in air from the reverse flow being located on an outer casing (17) at least partially internally delimiting the outer duct, and second openings (29) for letting said air out being located on an inner casing (14) at least partially externally delimiting an inner duct (12). The first openings are located within a plane that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (C) of the turbomachine and passes substantially through the middle of the blade assembly.
BYPASS TURBOMACHINE FOR AN AIRCRAFT
The invention relates to a bypass turbomachine (2) for an aircraft, comprising a gas generator (5) and a ducted fan (4) comprising variable pitch blades (18) configured to take a reverse thrust position driving a reverse flow (24) of air within a secondary duct (16), the gas generator (5) being connected to a fan casing (3) by a stator blade assembly (40) that passes through the secondary duct, first openings (28) for letting in air from the reverse flow being located on an outer casing (17) at least partially internally delimiting the outer duct, and second openings (29) for letting said air out being located on an inner casing (14) at least partially externally delimiting an inner duct (12). Thrust efficient gas turbine engine
A disclosed gas turbine engine includes a gas generator section for generating a gas stream flow and a propulsor section for generating propulsive thrust as a mass flow rate of air through a bypass flow path. The propulsor section includes a fan driven by a power turbine through a speed reduction device at a second rotational speed lower than a first rotational speed of the power turbine. An Engine Unit Thrust Parameter (“EUTP”) defined as net engine thrust divided by a product of the mass flow rate of air through the bypass flow path, a tip diameter of the fan and the first rotational speed of the power turbine is between 0.05 and 0.13 during operation of the gas turbine engine.
