A triplex greensmower lift system includes a yoke mount attached to a reel cutting unit forwardly and below a center of gravity of the reel cutting unit, an upper lift arm attached to the yoke mount and extending rearwardly behind the reel cutting unit to a horizontal pivot axis on a lower lift arm located at a height between a top of the reel cutting unit and the center of gravity of the reel cutting unit, and a spring connected to the upper lift arm and biasing the upper lift arm upwardly and rearwardly to reduce ground pressure on the reel cutting unit.

The present invention relates to a harvesting appliance (2), having a reel (12), which has a number of tine carriers (22), non-rotatably mounted on which, in a distributed manner over the length thereof, there are a number of reel tines (28), the tine carriers (22) being rotatably connected to the spoke elements (26). In order to protect the reel tines against an overload, each tine carrier (22) is held in a rotational position via a support element (30) against a variable-length energy store (32), which permits a yielding motion of the reel tines (28) when a load is applied to the reel tines (28).

A harvesting implement for an agricultural harvester includes a frame and an auger rotatably supported on the frame. Furthermore, the harvesting implement includes a first crop feed component configured to direct a first portion of crop material from a field toward the auger and a second crop feed component spaced apart from the first crop feed component in a lateral direction that is perpendicular to a direction of travel of the harvesting implement, with the second crop feed component configured to direct a second portion of the crop material to the auger. In this respect, when the harvesting implement travels along a turn, one of the first or second crop feed components on an outside of the turn is driven at a greater rate than the other of the first or second crop feed components.
