ANNULAR RING MIXER WITH VANES
An exhaust gas recirculation system for an engine includes a conduit, and a mixer. The conduit is configured to direct to direct exhaust gas away from an exhaust manifold. The mixer is configured to direct exhaust gas from the conduit, into an engine air intake system. The mixer is arranged with an exhaust gas mixing volute chamber having a plurality of mixing vanes configured to direct the exhaust gas into a central intake airflow upstream of an intake manifold.
EGR PRE-MIXER FOR IMPROVED MIXING
An exhaust gas recirculation system for an engine includes a conduit, and a U-shaped exhaust gas mixer. The conduit is configured to direct an exhaust gas away from an exhaust manifold. The U-shaped exhaust gas mixer is configured to direct exhaust gas from the conduit and into an engine air intake system. The U-shaped exhaust gas mixer is arranged with a pre-mixing cavity configured to disperse the exhaust gas and entraining the exhaust gas into an intake air flow prior to distribution into an intake manifold of an engine.
Mixing valve
A mixing valve includes a housing having, arranged therein: a first flow duct having a first flap mounted rotatably in the first flow duct and configured to influence the throughflow cross section of the first flow duct, and a second flow duct, the second flow duct issuing into the first flow duct, and having a second flap mounted rotatably in the second flow duct and configured to influence the throughflow cross section of the second flow duct. The first flow duct has, downstream of the issue of the second flow duct, as seen in the flow direction, a region with at least two cross-sectional widenings, and at least one stationary guide element, projecting into the first flow duct, is arranged in the region with the at least two cross-sectional widenings.

Homogenization apparatus for at least two fluid flows, in particular for homogeneous gas/air mixing in a gas engine
A homogenization apparatus for at least two fluid flows for homogeneous gas/air mixing in a gas engine, in which at least two fluid feed lines conducting different fluid flows and one fluid outflow line conducting the homogenized fluid are connected to a central homogenization space as mixing region. In a connection region upstream of the homogenization space, the fluid feed lines have in each case one line section with a flow deflection in one direction with a flow deflection which follows downstream in the other direction and are connected in such a way that the fluid flows are fed tangentially to the homogenization space with a swirl movement imparted to them, in such a way that a rotating, turbulent flow which assists the homogenization process is formed in the homogenization space.

EGR device having rotary valve
An EGR device includes a housing having an outer pipe and an inner pipe. The inner pipe is accommodated in the outer pipe to define an annular passage externally with the outer pipe. The inner pipe defines an inner passage internally. The inner pipe has pipe through holes. A rotary valve is accommodated in the inner pipe. The rotary valve has valve through holes. The rotary valve is rotatable to communicate the annular passage with the inner passage through the valve through holes and the pipe through holes. The rotary valve is rotatable to block the inner passage from the annular passage.
Condensing EGR-mixer system
An EGR-mixer system may include an exhaust gas recirculation valve and a venturi mixer. The venturi mixer may be constructed and arranged to facilitate condensation of water out of exhaust gas and/or intake air entering the EGR-mixer system after which the condensate may be collected and the exhaust gas and/or intake air may flow through the EGR-mixer system.

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION APPARATUS
A exhaust gas recirculation apparatus includes a throttle body; an intake manifold configured to distribute intake air to each intake port in an engine; an adapter member including a through channel capable of guiding the intake air to the intake manifold from the throttle body; and a gas supply path capable of guiding part of exhaust gas to an intake system from an exhaust system. The adapter member includes an inlet port, a discharge port, and a coupling channel. A first opening is wider than a second opening when the discharge port is divided into the first opening and the second opening at an imaginary plane, serving as a boundary, which includes a center line of a valve shaft and which extends along an extending-through direction of the through channel.
