20190045712 · 2019-02-14 ·

A triplex greensmower lift system includes a yoke mount attached to a reel cutting unit forwardly and below a center of gravity of the reel cutting unit, an upper lift arm attached to the yoke mount and extending rearwardly behind the reel cutting unit to a horizontal pivot axis on a lower lift arm located at a height between a top of the reel cutting unit and the center of gravity of the reel cutting unit, and a spring connected to the upper lift arm and biasing the upper lift arm upwardly and rearwardly to reduce ground pressure on the reel cutting unit.

TRIPLEX GREENSMOWER OPEN FOOT PLATFORM

A triplex greensmower open foot platform provides an opening in front of an operator seat providing visibility from the operator seat to a center reel cutting unit. The opening has sufficient dimensions for removal or installation of the center reel cutting unit or a grass catcher therethrough. A pair of platform sections provides a perimeter at least partially around the opening. Each of the platform sections including a footrest and a rearwardly extending coupling that is manually removable from the triplex greensmower.

Combined center cam and reel arm
10201125 · 2019-02-12 · ·

An integrated reel arm and reel cam for use in an agricultural harvesting header that positions both within the same lateral space in order to reduce the width of the integrated assembly. The reel arm connects directly to a rearwardly facing structure on the reel cam and may include adjustment means for varying cam timing. The lateral width of the reel arm and connection is configured to be no greater than the lateral width of the reel cam thereby enabling positioning of a reel cam between adjacent reels in little more than the lateral width of the cam itself. The integrated reel arm and reel cam may also benefit conventional outboard reel cam configurations by reducing the lateral space requirements at the ends of a header reel.

ADJUSTABLE CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY FOR A HEADER OF AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
20190037771 · 2019-02-07 · ·

An improved header for an agricultural harvester is provided. The header includes a frame, a support bar connected to the frame and a conveyor assembly. The conveyor assembly is connected to the support bar and is adjustable in position relative to the frame about at least two degrees of freedom. The conveyor assembly includes a cam track, an endless web extending across the cam track and a plurality of tines connected to the endless web.

FLOAT ARM SUPPORT

A float arm support system may include a float arm supporting an active member, the float arm being pivotable about a first axis, a skid shoe to bear against and follow local ground contours of the underlying terrain while supporting the active member of the float arm above the underlying terrain and a powered actuator. The skid shoe may be coupled to the float arm between the first axis and the active member. The powered actuator may be operably coupled to the skid shoe to vertically move the skid shoe to adjust a spacing at which the skid shoe supports the active member of the float arm relative to the underlying terrain.

HARVESTER HEAD REEL SEGMENTS SYNCHRONIZATION
20190003496 · 2019-01-03 ·

A harvester head may include a position adjustable reel having a first segment and a second segment, a hydraulic supply comprising a pump and a reservoir, a first plurality of hydraulic cylinders coupled to the first segment to reposition the first segment, a second plurality of hydraulic cylinders coupled to the second segment to reposition the second segment, a first bidirectional valve operably coupled between the hydraulic supply and the first plurality of hydraulic cylinders, a second bidirectional valve operably coupled between the hydraulic supply and the second plurality of hydraulic cylinders, at least one sensor to sense relative positioning of the first segment and the second segment and a controller. The controller may output control signals to the first bidirectional valve and the second bidirectional valve based upon signals from the at least one sensor to synchronize positioning of the first segment and the second segment.

HARVESTER HEAD REEL REPHASING
20190003495 · 2019-01-03 ·

A rephasing system may include a first hydraulic cylinder, a second hydraulic cylinder, a first rephasing valve, a second rephasing valve and a controller. The first hydraulic cylinder and the second hydraulic cylinder first and second pistons, respectively. A first hydraulic fluid line connects a hydraulic supply to a first side of the first piston while a second hydraulic fluid line connects a second side of the first piston to a first side of the second piston. The first rephasing valve fluidly couples the first side of the first piston to the first side of the second piston while the second hydraulic fluid line fluidly couples the second side of the second piston to the hydraulic supply. The controller selectively opens and closes the first and second rephasing valves to re-phase the first and second pistons.

Reel assembly of an agricultural header

A reel assembly of an agricultural header includes a first arm configured to support a reel of the reel assembly and a first pivot joint configured to pivotally couple the first arm to a frame of the agricultural header. The first pivot joint is configured to enable the first arm to pivot about a first local lateral axis of the agricultural header and about a longitudinal axis of the agricultural header relative to the frame. In addition, the reel assembly includes a second arm configured to support the reel and a second pivot joint configured to pivotally couple the second arm to the frame. The second pivot joint is configured to enable the second arm to pivot about a second local lateral axis of the agricultural header relative to the frame and to substantially block pivoting of the second arm about the longitudinal axis relative to the frame.
