Turbine casing of an exhaust-gas turbocharger
The invention relates to a turbine casing of an exhaust-gas turbocharger, having an inlet connection piece adjoined by a spiral, and having an outlet connection piece, characterized by an insulating device for reducing the input of heat into the inlet connection piece, the spiral and/or the outlet connection piece.
Device for recirculating exhaust gas from the engine of an automobile, and use of such a device
The invention concerns a device for recirculation of exhaust gases from an engine (1) of a motor vehicle, comprising a first exhaust gas recirculation line (9) called an EGR line, a first heat exchanger (10) provided on said EGR line (9) to ensure cooling of the recirculated exhaust gases, and treatment means (11) for the exhaust gases allowing limitation of the pH of the condensate arising from said gases. The treatment means (11) are provided upstream of the first exchanger (10) along the path of the exhaust gases, and the exchanger (10) comprises a heat exchanger bundle made of aluminum and/or aluminum alloy.

Fixing anchor
A device for anchoring components or parts to a rigid element, such as an engine block, for example, or to intermediate elements which are in turn fixed to rigid elements, such as an intermediate pin mounted on the engine block, for example. The anchor consists of a structure which can be manufactured from stamped and punched sheet metal parts giving rise to an inexpensive and easy-to-manufacture component. The particular configuration based on stamped and punched sheet metal parts shows high rigidity and is particularly suitable for anchoring heavy components. The fixing anchor is suitable for bolted joints of the components or parts.

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION COOLER FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust gas recirculation cooler may include a housing having a coolant inlet opening into an inlet region and a coolant outlet, and a plurality of cooling tubes arranged in the housing next to one another to form a tube row, each cooling tube connecting an exhaust gas inlet and outlet. At least two tube rows with one arranged on top of another and spaced from each other may form a tube block. Exhaust gas may be flowable through an inside of each cooling tube, and a coolant flow may be able to be circulated outside of the cooling tubes within the housing and flowable through an annular space enclosing the tube block in a circumferential direction. A flow guide arrangement for guiding the coolant in the interior of the tube block may be arranged in the housing lying against at least portions of one of the tube rows.

Method and system for exhaust heat exchanger diagnostics
Methods and systems are provided for carrying out on-board diagnostics of a plurality of components of an exhaust heat exchange system. In one example, degradation of one or more of a heat exchanger and a coolant system fluidically coupled to the heat exchanger may be detected based on a first temperature estimated upstream of the heat exchanger, a second temperature sensor estimated downstream of the heat exchanger, a coolant temperature, and a pressure estimated upstream of the heat exchanger. Also, degradation of a diverter valve of the heat exchange system may be detected based on inputs of a position sensor coupled to the diverter valve.

EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION COOLER WITH DAMPING RODS
An Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler assembly and an EGR cooler conduit assembly are provided. Heat exchange tubes in EGR cooler assemblies may vibrate and contact the EGR cooler shell, thereby leading to the tube fretting and potentially failing. The current disclosure is directed to the use of damping rods to absorb vibratory impacts and reduce or eliminate tube fretting.
