An air cleaner is provided. The air cleaner includes an air cleaner body and air cleaner cover that are coupled to each other to form an internal space for mounting a filter and that are clamped and separated through a cover clamp. The filter purifies air that is introduced through a duct inlet into air which is to be discharged through a hose outlet. A filter fixer is formed in the internal space to seat the filter and forms a filter holding force to block swaying of the filter. Additionally, a filter adapter is mounted into or detached from the internal space and is inserted into the internal space to form a filter fixing force for fixing the filter.

A fuel heater and vaporizing system comprising an engine; a source of fuel coupled to the engine through a fuel supply line; multiple stages of thermal sources thermally coupled to the fuel supply line between the source of fuel and the engine, wherein the multiple stages of thermal sources are configured to heat the fuel; at least one catalyst system configured to supply a source of ions and H.sub.2 coupled to the fuel supply, and a sustainable water injection sub-system coupled to the engine, the sustainable water injection sub-system configured to inject water vapor into the engine.

A hollow filter element for insertion into an openable filter housing has a filter medium body configured as a hollow body surrounding an inwardly positioned flow space. At least one end disk is connected to the filter medium body and covers an axial end face of the filter medium body. A positioning element is arranged at the at least one end disk and interacts with a housing-associated blade of the filter housing. The positioning element receives the housing-associated blade with form fit in two different transverse directions relative to the longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. The positioning element has a positioning recess.

A flat air filter element for an air filter has a filter medium of cellulose material and a sealing element extending circumferentially about the filter medium. Sealing element and filter medium have at least one recess at an outer contour of the flat air filter element. The sealing element has a circumferentially extending holding groove to be engaged by a housing part of a filter housing. The filter housing has a housing pot, a housing cover to cover the housing pot, and a closure element for closing the filter housing. The flat air filter element is secured in the closed state of the filter housing by circumferentially clamping the sealing element between housing pot and housing cover. The circumferentially extending holding groove of the sealing element is engaged by housing pot or housing cover. The closure element of the filter housing is arranged in the region of the recess.

An annular filter element has a filter medium body that can be flowed through in a radial direction by a fluid to be cleaned. A central tube is arranged at an inner side of the filter medium body. A support collar is connected to the central tube and provides an end face forming an axial support surface for a housing component of a filter housing. A sealing element is connected to the support collar. The support collar has a radial side face, wherein the radial side face carries the sealing element and forms a sealing surface for the housing component, wherein the sealing surface is spaced apart from the axial support surface. The support collar is formed together with the central tube as one piece.

The application is directed towards a filter element which has an oval cross-section and a circumferential sealing device for sealing the filter element off from a filter holder for the filter element, wherein the sealing device has a plurality of curvature sections to ensure good sealing. The application is also directed towards a filter assembly utilizing such a filter element.

A filter assembly for a fresh air filtration system, the fresh air filtration system made therewith, and a method of filtering fresh air are provided. The filter assembly includes a filter housing and at least one filter element supported within the housing, the housing having at least one inlet for receiving a fluid to be filtered and at least one outlet for discharging filtered fluid, wherein the at least one inlet and at least one outlet are on a common side of the housing.

A filter media block and filter element incorporating same are provided. Methods of forming a filter media block and filter element are also provided. The filter media block includes a block of filter media and an outer permeable layer. The outer layer provides support for the block of filter media.

The invention relates to an air cleaner housing for a vehicle, comprising an outer and an inner circumferential wall, and a space therebetween adapted to house at least one filter element for filtering air, wherein the inner circumferential wall is provided with openings to allow filtered air to pass radially inwardly through the inner circumferential wall. The air cleaner housing comprises a first end and an open second end for fluidly connecting the air cleaner housing to a turbo, the open second end being located opposite the first end. The air cleaner housing comprises a resonator, wherein the entire resonator is encircled by the inner circumferential wall such that air entering through the inner circumferential wall passes on the outside of the resonator to and through the open second end.

The present invention generally relates to filtration, and more particularly to filter assemblies including filter housings, filter elements and safety filter elements for filtering flowing fluid such as air.
