Work machine
An exhaust system of a work machine is equipped with a first exhaust system, a second exhaust system, and a third exhaust system. The first exhaust system and the third exhaust system are arranged to be in parallel with respective one ends directed in the same direction. In a plan view, the second exhaust system is arranged with the other end side directed in the same direction as the one end sides of the first exhaust system and the third exhaust system to be in parallel with the first exhaust system and the third exhaust system between the first exhaust system and the third exhaust system and, in a side view, is arranged above the first exhaust system and the third exhaust system.
Turbocharging system for use with internal combustion engine
A turbocharging system for use with an internal combustion engine, which includes an exhaust gas feeding passage configured to feed exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine to a turbine unit; an exhaust gas passage configured to release the exhaust gas discharged from the turbine unit outside of the turbocharging system; an intake air passage configured to feed intake air into the compressor unit; a compressed air passage configured to feed compressed air discharged from the compressor unit to the internal combustion engine; an intercooler configured to cool the compressed air flowing through the compressed air passage; and an LPL-EGR passage configured to recirculate at least a part of the exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust gas passage, into the intake air passage, wherein the compressed air passage is provided with a cyclone-type collecting device arranged upstream of the intercooler to collect foreign substances contained in the compressed air.
Method and system to reduce charge air cooler condensation
Methods and systems for operating an engine that includes a compressor and charge air cooler are disclosed. In one example, air flow through the charge air cooler is increased in response to condensation accumulating in the charge air cooler without increasing engine torque. Air flow through the charge air cooler is increased to gradually reduce condensation within the charge air cooler.
Air intake assembly for a vehicle
An air intake assembly for a vehicle includes an air intake configured to intake ambient air and a heater box configured to be positioned adjacent a component of an exhaust assembly of the vehicle. The heater box is configured to intake ambient air and heat the air by heat absorption from the component of the exhaust assembly. The air intake assembly is configured to selectively permit passage of ambient air from the air intake and heated air from the heater box toward the engine assembly. The air intake assembly may selectively permit passage of ambient air and heated air by use of a valve in communication with the air intake and the heater box and further in connection with an engine assembly of the vehicle, the valve configured to selectively permit passage of ambient air from the air intake and heated air from the heater box toward the engine assembly.
AIR CLEANER FOR VEHICLE
The present invention discloses an air cleaner for a vehicle. An air cleaner for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a housing having an intake port for suctioning air and an outtake port for supplying the air suctioned through the intake port to an engine system of the vehicle; and an element installed in the housing to filter the air suctioned through the intake port, and the air cleaner further includes an evaporation gas collecting unit installed at an upper part of the inside of the housing to collect evaporation gas.
Elongated tubular hydrocarbon adsorption trap produced from a circularly wrapped sheet media
A tubular hydrocarbon adsorption trap includes a fuel vapor permeable porous media sheet which is circularly wrapped around to form a circumferentially closed elongated tubular body having at least one interior chamber in which the hydrocarbon vapor adsorbent media is arranged. Opposing longitudinal edges of the wrapped media sheet are secured by ultrasonic welding or other means to securely close the circumference of the tubular body. The tubular body is closed on the top and bottom longitudinal edges to retain hydrocarbon vapor adsorbent media within. A method of manufacturing the tubular hydrocarbon adsorption trap is also disclosed.
STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle-type vehicle comprises a front wheel and a rear wheel, an engine disposed between the front wheel and the rear wheel, an air cleaner box disposed above the engine, and a vehicle body behavior sensor provided on a periphery of the air cleaner box and located above a bottom wall surface of the air cleaner box.
AIR CLEANER
An air cleaner is configured to be installed, together with an electrical component, below a seat of a saddle-type vehicle. The air cleaner includes: a cleaner case including an intake chamber formed therein; and an intake pipe configured to take in air into the intake chamber. The cleaner case includes a support surface configured to support the electrical component from below, and an intake port of the intake pipe is covered from above by the electrical component.
